　　Everyone has a dream, I have a dream, too. When I was a kid, my dream wasto eat many candies everyday.But now,I am growing up, and my dream havechanged.

　　Now, my dream is to be a teacher. I think Teacher is a very great job.Teachers teache us lots of kowledge and make us understand the truthes. So, Iwant to be a teacher very much.

　　In order to make my dream come true.I will try my best to study harder andto improve myself

　　I hope all children can be educated well. And I will make me excellentenough to be their teacher.

　　I know, on the way to pursue my dream. Perhaps I will meet manydifficulties. But nevermind. The more difficulties I meet the stronger I will beThere is a saying:”There is only one kind of people that are trulysuccessful：Those who are brave enough to put up with difficulties”. I believethat no pain no gain.Even if I won’t achieve my goal I have no regrets for whatI have done. So dear friends, let us work harder together to make our dream cometrue. 　　good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen; when i was in the primary school, ihad a dream， i want to invent a device which could bring you from one place toanother in no time at all. when i was in the secondary school, my dream was tostudy in my ideal university. and when eventually i got into the university, mydream was to graduate. how pathetic! when we grow up, we dream less and becomemore realistic. why? why do we have to change our dreams, so, so in order to letit be “fulfilled”? why do we have to surrender to the so-called “reality”? whatis the reality actually?

　　ladies and gentlemen, the reality is not real. it is barrier keeping usfrom all possible fantasies. flying, for example, had been a dream to mankindfor thousands of years. a hundred years ago, “man could not fly” was stillregarded as the “reality”. now if that was really the reality, what did thewright brothers do? how did some of you get to macao? only when we believe thatthe reality is not real can we soar with our dreams. people say that our futureis a battle between the reality and our dreams. and if, unfortunately,mr.reality wins this war, then i see no future of mankind at all. aids willnever be curable as this is the reality; people living in the undevelopedcountries will suffer from starvation forever as this is the reality; disputesamong different countries would never be settled as this misunderstandings andintolerance is the reality.

　　ladies and gentlemen, how many of you have a dream of being able to make alot of money? please raise your hands. oh, quite a number of you! actually,ladies and gentlemen, this is not a dream, but a task. every one of us has tomake a living, right? anyway i hope your task will be accomplished. how many ofyou think hat you have already fulfilled your dream and that you don’t dreamanymore? dear adjudicators, what do you think? c.s.lewis once said, “you arenever too old to dream a new dream. “so for our future, please dream and beunrealistic. now that i am university student, my goal is to graduate withexcellences. but at the same time, i have dream deeply rooted in our future. oneday, people living in the areas now sweltering with the horror of wars will beable to sit with their families and enjoy their every moment. one day, from therich countries are willing to share what they have with those from the poorcountries and those from the countries will eventually be able to make their ownhappy living themselves. one day , different cultures in this age ofglobalization will coexist with tolerance and the unfriendly confrontationsamong them will be eliminated. one day, the globe will share the dream with meand we will all contribute to making our dream come true. one day, our dreamwill defeat the reality!

　　I am grateful for the opportunity to deliver my speech here after 7-days’preparation with my friend Jinly. Thanks to Jinly’s strong support in our work.I think it is my way of saying thank you to you that giving an excellentpresentation to all my friends here.

　　The subject of our presentation is “YOUR DREAM & YOUR GOAL”. During thenext 10 minutes, we’ll give you a brief explanation of these stuff at the bestof our knowledge.

　　First of all, I’d like to spent 3 or 5 minutes on discussing about thedream. When we were 5, they asked us what we want to be when we grow up. Weanswered like superman, princess, or in my case, a sailor moon. When we were 10,again they asked and the answer was policemen, doctors and some otherhigh-principled jobs. But unfortunately, we finally found our dreams unrealisticas we entered a not so good high school, did not so good school works and wentto a not so good direction in our life. I guess, many of you have thought aboutchanging your dreams, but finally felt at a loss again. Yep! We’re adults andthey are waiting for a serious answer. Well, how about this? WHO THE HELL KNOWS!Dream is only a dream. It’s unnecessary for us to think over our dreams all daylong. You know, dreams always change, and this is not the time to make difficultdecisions. But what do dreams do? Why do we still have an urgent need ofdreams?

　　Think about it: do you have had a time when you were full of happiness justbecause you have made an achievement that pushes you a bit to your dream? Do youhave had a time when you insist on what you were doing even the tears keepfalling from your eyes? That is the power from dreams! May I equate the faithand the dream here? As we all know, aims and dreams are far from each other tosome extent but close to each other on the other hand. Just like the parabolaand the number line in mathematics. But it is the dream that help us to map outour aim and work out plans one after another in our life. Just like what HowardSchultz, the founder of the Starbuck said, Dreams are like the stars----we neverreach them, but like mariners, we chart our course by them. And I believe thatif you have a dream and make efforts step by step, some of you may extremelyfinish the quantitative change on the way to success and reach the qualitativechange!

　　I would like to finish my part by a tongue twister: Whether the weather befine or whether the weather be not. Whether the weather be cold or whether theweather be hot. We'll weather the weather whether we like it or not. Whateveryou dreams are and however difficult it is to realize them. Reach your aim stepby step and I believe your dreams will extremely come into truth!
