今年寒假我和妈妈去科威特看望在那儿工作的爸爸。在科威特，有很多中国人从事各种工作，他们在科威特的工作和生活是怎样的呢？

爸爸所在的公司是搞建筑的，在科威特已经完成了很多项目，有四十多层的高楼，有50多米深的深井泵房，有大跨度的体育中心，还有大学城、炼油厂、集气站、水塔、污水处理厂等，还有好几个旧城改造的市政建设。可以说，他们为科威特的建设作出了很大贡献，而这些成果来之不易。

科威特极端天气很多，气候条件很差。因为是沙漠国家，这里夏天最高温度能达到50度以上，每天都晴空万里，强烈的阳光刺得人睁不开眼睛。从春到秋，总会有很多次沙尘暴，铺天盖地地席卷城市和乡村；在大半年一滴雨都不下以后，冬天偶尔会下雨，一下就大暴雨或大冰雹，那雨能大得好象天破了个洞，水直接倾泻下来，把公路都变成了河流。我在科威特期间就经历了一次这样的大雨，真是惊心动魄。

就是在这样的环境条件下，爸爸和公司的其他人员一起，完成了那么多项目建设。爸爸是公司的高层管理人员，每天都要开车奔波几百公里工作。他要用熟练的英语与外国公司打交道，谈项目；差不多每天都要到各个项目工地上去检查工程情况，解决各种问题；如果出现了突发事件，比如事故，不管什么时间，都要及时赶去现场处理。爸爸一般早晨八点出门，常常忙到下午两、三点才能吃中饭，有时候连中饭都没时间吃，工作强度很大。那些建筑工人的工作就更辛苦了，一天下来筋疲力尽，晚上也没什么休闲活动，能看到国内的电视节目对他们来说就很高兴。可因为时差，这个小小的愿望也常常不能实现。现在，爸爸所在的公司在科威特已经建立起了良好的信誉，这都是他们辛勤工作换来的。

其实，在科威特，还有很多中国机构，有代表国家的使馆，有国家派出支援的医疗队，还有^v^以及其他很多做贸易搞建设的公司，他们为中国和科威特的友好交流做了很多事情，为科威特建设做出了贡献，也为祖国挣得了大量外汇。

转眼就要和爸爸说再见了，就要和生机勃勃的科威特说再见了，这一次科威特之旅让我重新认识了爸爸，他是一位让我骄傲的爸爸！因为科威特的建设离不开我的爸爸！这还不足以让一位儿子感到骄傲吗？！
