How time flies! I have studied in my school for three years. And I will graduate from middle school in a month. I am eager to share my happiness and sadness with you. I had so many memories in three years’ life. One of them impressed me very much. I still remember, when I began to learn English, I found it too difficult. No matter how hard I tried, I still couldn’t do well in it and almost gave it up. As soon as my English teacher found my problem, she had a talk with me about how to learn English well. Since then, she has kept helping me. Little by little, I’ve bee interested in English and I’m good at it. I think I am so lucky to bee one of her students. I’ve learned a lot from her. I will try to help others when they are in trouble. I think it is a happy thing to help others.
今天妈妈带我去参加英语超联赛，中午的天气真是骄阳似火，阳光照得人睁不开眼睛。
来到考试点，上面写着考试要求：1、表演小故事（不少于2个角色）2、看图说话。老师给我一幅春天的图，让我准备一下，拿到图我便傻眼了，不是我擅长的水果图画。我偷偷地请教了旁边的大哥哥，又请教了隔壁的大姐姐，总算“挤”出几句话。轮到我上场了，面对着评委老师，我的心里像竹篮打水一样七上八下，我先对评委都展示了我的绝活——表演小故事，戴上我的头套，感觉我就是一只猫头鹰。我把小故事倒背如流地表演下来。评委老师一边听着，一边向我投来赞赏的目光，我的心渐渐平静了下来。
可是在我进行第二项看图说话时候，这也是最难的部分，我想起妈妈对我说：“无论看到什么图，都要镇定。”这让我对自己增添了几分信心，但是看到面前自己从来没有尝试过的图画，我的心里仍像世界大战一样无法平静，我深吸了一口气，眼睛死死盯住图，好像图上有单词似的。好不容易结结巴巴说出几句话，可自己都觉得不满意。
匆匆忙忙地说完了，我和评委老师道了谢。无奈地低头走出了考场，感叹道：“我原来以为英超很简单，这下可把我考住了！”见到了妈妈，我再也忍不住了，泪水从脸颊上流了下来，妈妈安慰着我说：“体验比名次更重要！我们四年级再来！”我抬起泪水涟涟的脸，点了点头……

If seizes and makes the best use of opportunity available, one can succeed surely.
In summary, to them, chances and lucks play the most important role on the road to success. However, others maintain that “no pains, no gains” .Without exerting oneself, one could never expect to achieve success in no matter what one is doing. As is known to all, there is no royal road to the summit of success. One is likely to succeed only when one has worked with whole-hearted devotion and perseverance. Those who are lazy, sloppy and indifferent to their work, those who never concentrate on work will definitely end in failure. On the whole, as far as they are concerned, hard-working is the decisive factor to success. In my view, both hard work and opportunity eventually matters.
They are inseparable from each other, and put together, they make a great success. Hard work is to luck what fish is to water, and can be seen as an interior precondition of success. 今天我们又一次的来到了暑假的英语班开始了，既充实又好玩的英语课。

开始听写了，我刚松懈的身子又开始警戒起来，三分钟后我的身子全身冰凉，手上全无知觉，因为我感觉我考砸了，又开始上外教课了，外教是个黑人男老师，讲课生动有趣，我非常喜欢上他的课。结果这次我还考的异常地好。
一天愉快的下午很快地过去了。

这学期我从农村转到了离石的和平实验小学。以前我从来没学过英语，这学期和平实验小学开设了英语课，老师讲的我一句也听不懂，十分苦恼。我回到家对爸爸说：“我听不懂老师说的英语。”爸爸说“不要紧，英语其实很简单，我给你教。”
其实，爸爸读书时英语也不怎么好，但为了给我补起来，，他买了英语磁带、英语词典，先自己学，然后给我教。首先，从最基本的英文字母a、b、c、d……开始，爸爸读一个，我跟着读一个，开始我觉得很难学的，特别是“i”“r”这两个字母怎么也读不准、分不清。后来，爸爸给我教了个办法，小树发芽是r，这样我一下就分清了这两个字母的读音，等我会读这些字母时，开始教我怎样在英语本上写，学会这些才教我学习单词，爸爸把单词归了类。先教我1-10这十个数字的读写，再教星期的读写……学单词可比学字母又难多了，一个单词读上三五次也读不准，但我们不放弃，反反复复的读，直到读会为止，读会再教我背下这个单词，爸爸要求我每天记两个单词。一有时间还要听听英语磁带。
现在我觉的学英语不那么发愁了，而且学会了许多英语单词。老师教过的单词也能记下来，学过的课文也都会念了。

(If we let this situation continue as it is, ultimately, our society will suffer a great destruction.)
It is advisable for us to take steps to reverse this current evil trend. On one hand, we should cultivate the awareness of people that everyone needs to reflect on his or her uncivilized conducts and strengthen his self-discipline. On the other hand, it is high time that more severe and sound laws and regulations should be introduced to harness and curb this matter. A trip to countryside
I went to the countryside to spend my summer holidays this year. I liked green plants, clear rivers lovely amimals breathed the fresh air on the mountain sometimes I went swimming in the river. I kept a diary every day.
I liked not the scene of the countryside, the people there. I helped them to do farm work. I also helped the children in the neighbourhood with their lessons. The children were interested in English. They were good at reading writing, not do well in listening speaking. I helped them improve their listening speaking. Their parents thought highly of me. I realized that knowledge is greatly needed in the countryside.
My father used to talk to me about his five siblings. He used to say that I was unfortunate that I had none. And I used to envy him and wonder how nice it would be to have a houseful of brothers and sisters. I also used to wonder what would happen to me if I were to lose my parents. Frankly speaking, I do not have to share anything with anybody. I own all my parents' love. I can ask for anything I want. I always wear new clothes and eat the best food. Since my parents spend all their money on me, I can study at the best university of the country.
Lucky as I am, I now and then feel very lonely and I have nobody to complain about my loneliness. How I long for a quarrel with my brothers and sisters! Of course I have classmates and friends, but they are different. Sometimes I feel so pessimistic that after my parents leave the world, I will have no blood relatives left to share with me the fond memories of my parents. Furthermore, I am likely to become selfish while I realize the world is for sharing.
So, I am happy but lonely; I am fortunate but piteous; I am loved but spoiled; I am well-bred but selfish, because I am the only child of the family.
When I was a child, my favorite holiday was the Spring Festival, and the favorite program was the Spring Festival gala. For me, there is nothing better than the seven days of the New Year: pasting spring couplets, hanging blessings, making dumplings, setting off firecrackers, and one after another is too busy to be happy.
However, as I grew older, I gradually lost interest in the Spring Festival. People were busy and relatives didn't have time to get together. 第二、每节课学完后，miss张就跟我们做一些英语小游戏。平时不太爱学习的田昊，一听能做游戏，一下子来了劲头，一节课下来，不仅不做小动作，还被老师表扬了。

Zeng Qiao is one of my friends. She is a beautiful, outgoingand good-tempered girl. She smiles frequently. I think it’s her smile that makes her beauty. We live in the same dormitory, so that we always stay together, no matter going to classroom or having dinners. At first, I don’t like her very much, because she is always talking.
