Nowadays, with the development of technology and economy, living conditions of youngster have been improved substantially. However, it is surprising that the level of their happiness does not grow correspondingly. In this essay, I will give possible reasons and solutions to this issue.
Firstly, as the young generation grow up and live in a time when there is much more abundant materials, they take for granted their high living standard and become less sensitive to any improvement in this regard. On the other hand, their spiritual need cannot satisfy due to the loss of traditional values. They strive for fame and profit and suffer from high stress every day, but get disoriented in a fast-changing world and have no idea about the ultimate goal of their lives.
In addition, as many young people were spoilt by their parents in their childhood, they become self-centered, inconsiderate and apathetic. All they care about is no more than their personal interests and feelings, instead of having a charitable heart for giving and helping others. Therefore, love and care, the key elements connecting people together emotionally, are fading. Therefore, young people gradually become indifferent from their friends and families, which then trapping them into negative emotions like loneliness, depression and anxiety.
To address this problem, young people should realize that the main solution lies with their own change. They should shift their attention from the pursuit of fame and money to their families and a balanced life. Also, engaging in interpersonal activities like parties and sports with friends is an idea way that helping young generations recover their emotional pleasure and well-being back, because sharing true feelings, experience and inner-heart ideas with others is a wonderful means of relieving stress, mentally.
I have a very good friend. His name is Philip. As far as I'm concerned, he's very kind-hearted and generous.
Once I was in high school, he treated me friendly and sincerely. When I was happy, he was also happy with me.
When I was sad, he always comforted me. When I was defeated, he always encouraged me.
When I stumbled, he always pulled me up. Although we quarreled at times, we were still in good relationships. We could know each other better after the argument. When my birthday came, he always sent me a special present.
He's very hard-working and intelligent. He always studied hard at school. Because of his hard work, he always did very well in exams.

Different people have different opinions about what a good friend shouldbe. My classmates think that good friends are supposed to share happiness andhelp each other. However, not everyone can share sadness with you. Those peopleare not real friends.
I think good friends can consider things while standing in your shoes. Theyalso think about other people. They put other people as priority instead ofthemselves. Good friends should be honest, kind and have a sense ofresponsibility. Without honesty, people cannot trust each other and they can'tshare their deepest thoughts or secrets. Good friends should also be goodlisteners. They can hear your sadness and help you go through the bad can always trust your good friends.
In short, I think good friends should be kind and honest. They should alsobe willing to help you and share your sadness.
Among all the instructive proverbs that give people advice, the one I like most is “Where there is a will, there is a way”. This short, beautiful sentence tells us an incontrovertible truth: if you have a dream and stick to it, you will realize it sooner or later.
For me, the saying has a special meaning. When I was in Junior Middle School, I was so poor in my studies that I nearly gave up. But my head-teacher was always there and gave me confidence every time I lose heart. He used to say, “a little more effort and you will make it.”

Over the last half century the pace of change in the life of human beings has increased beyond our wildest expectations. This has been driven by technology and scientific breakthroughs that are changing the whole way we view the world on an almost daily basis. This means that change is not always a personal option, but an inescapable fact of life, and we need to constantly adapt to keep pace with it.
Those people who believe they have achieved some security by doing the same, familiar things are living in denial. Even when people believe they are resisting change themselves, they cannot stop the world around them from changing. Sooner or later they will find that the familiar jobs no longer exist, or that the ‘safe’ patterns of behavior are no longer appropriate.
However, reaching the conclusion that change is inevitable is not the same as assuming that ‘change is always for the better’. Unfortunately, it is not always the case that new things are promoted because they have good impacts for the majority of people. A lot of innovations are made with the aim of making money for a few. This is because it is the rich and powerful people in our society who are able to impose changes (such as in working conditions or property developments) that are in their own interests.
In conclusion, I would say that change can be stimulating and energizing for individuals when they pursue it themselves, but that all change, including that which is imposed on people, does not necessary have good outcomes.
