Thanks for your letter which finally caught up with me in London. I suppose you're keen to hear how the trip has been so far. So here's a short description of what's happened.
Well, you remember we left Sydney on Monday and arrived in London 24 hours later. After such a long and exhausting flight the first thing we did was to have a good, long sleep. And after that?a good meal to make up for all that horrible airline stuff!
The first real day of our holiday was spent just walking around London to get a feel of the place. After that, however, we were more particular and planned each day carefully.
First, we looked at all the historical sights, such as the Tower of London, the Houses of Parliament, the British Museum and the National Gallery. Then we visited some other famous places, such as Kew Gardens and Hampstead Heath. Finally, we took a one-day trip to Oxford, which is really the most marvelous town. You should make sure to go there when you visit England.
After we had seen a lot of London, we flew to Paris. A t first, we didn't like the place-I suppose because it was so different from London. Later, though, we began to really love it and started to appreciate its differentness.

虽然我在一年的工作中取得了一定的成绩，但还存在一定的问题和不足。一是工作有急躁情绪，有时工作急于求成，反而影响了工作的进度和质量;二是处理一些工作关系时还不能得心应手，工作显得措手不及，无从着手。在今后的工作中，我还要继续加强学习，戒骄戒躁，努力实践，为把自己培养成为新时期的合格人才而努力奋斗。
不知不觉已经在公司工作三个月之久了，人总是应该在一个阶段性的时候及时思考自己所做的事情，但是做过事情没有对错之分，只要对自己是一种交代和一种认知就可以了。古人常说，一日而三省。现在我达不到一日三省，我能可以尝试着自己在每个阶段明白自己做的事情。我在公司虽然只有三个月但是工作的内容丰富多样，各种工作都涉猎过，自己可以大致分为三个阶段：
第一个阶段，宣传员阶段。
当时刚找这份工作的时候就是一种玩的心态，一种想扩大自己对社会的一种浅薄的认识。当初面试的时候感觉自己准备的并不是太充足，感觉自己的基本情况进行隐瞒和装饰，自己当时面试还很紧张，并且对公司相关联的一些测绘方面知识和仪器还很无知，根本不知道还有那些测绘仪器和设备，再加之自己并没有那么十分渴望的想去工作，所以当初不是太在乎。
面试以后自己等了一天公司通知让我工作，在那时我就感觉公司现在急剧的发展阶段，而且很缺少人。我觉得当时候是一个机会，思前想后准备尝试一下。我在公司待了两天，刚开始接触一些测绘低端仪器，有的连名字都记不住，更何况是它们的性能和操作，老员工不是很积极的教我。但是经理已经开始让我去宣传产品，第一站就是去清苑县城，当时自己只能比着葫芦画瓢，自己拿着传单开始一个个走访工地。
最艰苦的出差。
有一次去涞源县城那里坐车需要四个多小时，走的很多都是是山路，我基本上是第一天到那里什么也做不成，由于坐车的疲惫和折腾，身心总是加倍身体透支。自己的只能先休息然后调整自己第二天才去宣传。我到了以后睡了一下午，醒来以后出去转转时候感觉夜间的晚风急促，寒冷刺骨，但是自己穿的衣服很单薄，没有预料到山区晚上气候如此，自己走一圈吃了点东西回来，自己一个人在旅馆，平常一个单被就可以了，但是自己那天要了两个被子去御寒。
第二天醒来骑着自行车去开始寻找工地，走着走着发现这里街道别没有想象的那么简单，这个县城道路总是高低起伏的，骑车子有时候根本就蹬不上去，自己只能慢慢的推着上去，县城面积由于受到地形的影响，面积也特别大属于居住散居。自己用了将近三天的时间才把所有的客户走访完，然后信息整理好才去回去。也许越是最幸苦的时候你就越发现自己越是坚强，我不知道自己的有时候自己真的目的是干什么，但是我明白，我只想去做好，没有太多要求和奢望，每次出差我都能感受到一种追求和接触的欣慰，遇到新鲜的事物，内心总是感觉一种好奇的充实。内心对是世界看法越来越现实，又越来越幻想。
最难缠的出差。
也许自己遇到最难缠的客户和麻烦的事情。那是在博野县城时，我第一天去的时候先找一个农民工人进行询问技术人员办公地方，但是他们很多人都是新来的根本不知道技术员在那，然后我只能在几百亩施工的工地上一个个角落去找，找了快一个小时才发现他们的办公室。原来他们办公室不在工地这，在附近的一个楼层里，但是就是很无奈，自己找到了，只能安慰自己还好，自己总算是回报了，没想到这才只是开始。
我走进在办公室门前轻轻敲敲门，然后礼貌的走进去见到一个小技术员，我按照自己想好的问题仔细的询问的施工的基本情况，施工的基本进程和仪器的需求量，他说现在公司正好缺少经纬仪，我当时很高兴，但是他们老板亲自询问情况后才进行购买，他们说了不算。问他们老板在那，他说明天你过来老板会在办公室，我当时要电话他们不方便给我只能明天过来，把整个县城访问完第二天的时候又路过昨天的那个地方，那个技术员说今天老板因为有急事去北京了，让我第三天再过来，我只能索要电话进行电话沟通，那个老板说的特别实在诚恳，其实想让我在待一天等他回来仔细询问仪器情况。
我当时真先回公司草草了事，汇报工作，感觉缺少一个客户没有太大的关系，我经过思量以后还是别这样，感觉这时一种对自己不负责任，对公司不负责任的行为，也是对客户不负责任的行为，我那天跑去邻县宣传，宣传完了早早起来等着那个老板，最后终于见面了，那个老板也特别客气，我们说了快半个多小时，我们交谈了产品和售后服务这块内容，还有一些生活的趣事。他说他们们要等明年下一个工程开工了才进行大规模采购这次先买一个简单的测距仪，我走的时候那个老板说很佩服我这样的年轻人，很勤奋和务实，做事执着有责任心。我心里很高兴，觉得人不能总去等待机会，需要自己不断地去发现机遇，创造机会，正想那句话所说，当你最绝望的时候也是你最接近成功的时候。
我们每个人对对待问题发生都有自己尝试的机会，但是有的人尝试一次，有的人尝试了无数次，那也是失败者和成功者的区别。再次每个人做事有时候不是给其他人一些交代，而是给自己一种交代，你每走一步就应该走好每一步，你内心的每一次自我放纵也许就是为自己以后性格埋下一种隐患，勿以恶小而为之，勿以善小而不为这句话在一千年之前已经告诫我踏踏做好自己，你的每一小步都是一种心理和思想意识的弥补和对坏的习惯的修改。
最让我深刻的一个出差。
那天天气很热，大地十分干燥，偶尔的风尘扑面而来，我走进一个工地大门，看见一个右手边用简易木板搭起大棚，里面有个黑黑灯泡挂在高不足两米的顶部，下面是最醒目的床，它占据三分之二的空间，说床其实没有那么奢侈，只是一个个木板平放在一个个用砖垒砌的支柱，床板上放着简单的被铺，凌乱的被子在铺上散扔着，枕头上也是黑油油污渍，也不知道他们多久没有洗过澡，他们每天天不亮估计就起床去做很费体力工作。扑克牌，方方面是他们经常接触到多彩的生活了。他们有的人一旦工作起来一般都是一年之久，最短也两三个月，说实话他们的有的年纪比我还小，有的比我父亲很大，年龄跨度很大。
支持他们的信念就是挣钱为自己家庭自己的儿女添加生活的富裕，最简单动机就是为了获得最大付出，这里可以说秋冬寒风吹袭，夏日酷热难耐。看着他们在工地上，每个人做着属于自己的工作，有的切割钢丝，有的装卸泥砖，有的推车拉土，漫不经心的工作凝聚了岁月风霜的洗涤，感受艰苦会让人去珍惜生活中的知足。穿着带土烂衫，脸上占据着痕道惆怅。
追求对有些人来说真的是一种渴望，自由对有的人说是一种拘束，那些能把自己命运的人应该努力的去珍惜自己那种奋斗过程，你们有时候的真的很幸福，世界上没有很简单事情，也没有很复杂事情，有的只是能否坚持自己原有的目标去做事情。
第二个阶段，没想到刚过两个月公司出现人员的变动，有些人不辞而别，有的人坚持要去北京发展，说工资待遇太低，后来他在北京没有待下去回来了，虽然北京的工资的确很高，但是消费也高。还有就是技术员和会计由于性格的原因矛盾重重，最后技术员看不惯会计做事方式愤然而走，在公司正要在市场一片大好的发展中突然出现内部不和谐因素的变故，我虽然刚来公司不到一个月之久我已经发现了这个行业已经有相当大的潜力和市场。
测绘行业就像一个一直被隐藏的宝玉突然放在展览馆中一下子被喜欢宝贝的人所接受和认可。然而就这时公司却在人员内部问题出现不利于发展的因素。如果看历史多的人都会想到太平天国，他们就是在发展一片大好的前提下，出现内部矛盾导致实力不断的内耗最后走向灭亡。以历史为鉴可以洞事理，以历史为鉴可以从容处事。
我当时我只想用己之能想扭转一些不利因素，当时经理对突然变故的事情也为之震撼，经理让我把技术员叫回来，我当时一点信心没有，一方面我知道技术员的性格和脾气，再之在这时候真是不合适，我只能厚着头皮按照自己的思维方式去做。我去找他时候以玩为借口，只字不提让他上班回去工作的事，只是说些工作现实和情况引导他不断去思考，因为自己的果断出走别人的一些看法和对公司的一些影响…然后就说些别的闲事和杂谈，一步步的捉摸他在想什么。
我也知道他的性格特别倔强，我只能从外部给他一种启发和引导。再加之他本身就对公司本来就有一种责任心，经过一天的时间，终于到晚上经理让我叫他进行一次面谈，以具体了解此事，怎么定夺两人矛盾问题。经理也明白技术员一直在公司一年之久，对公司的事情也是极度的负责和上心，再加之公司的会计在处理账目方面和为人性格方面的确不能让人认同，最后两者轻重选其重，经理再三的劝说的情况下终于把技术员说服了，最后决定把会计辞退留下骨干的技术员。
公司现在一下子出现了很大空白，等于很多事情需重建，这次的变动也引起经理对公司在管理上的反思和发展。公司迫切需要一种全面详细的制度来运营，需要在很多方面进行学习和改革。
第三阶段，很多时候我们遇到事情的时候会因为自己没有做过的事情而心里产生胆怯。导致我们很多时候做事一开始就出现问题。我们有的时候不是被别人或是困难吓到而是被自己吓到。
那天在出发之前经理给我说了很多如何去处理一些问题的方法和技巧，把一些和客户之间的关系一一阐明，把一些单位需求情况简单的分析一下。虽然我接触很多信息但是心里还是没有底气，这毕竟是自己第一从拜访工地转型到拜访单位和局级部门。其中的方法，语言和处理问题的方式都有很大的改变，也许我们很多时候都会害怕和胆怯困难所以不想去改变以前的工作习惯，改变对一个人来说有时候真的很难。
既然选择就去做，我拿着经理给的信息和单位名称自己就独自上路了，
第一站就是蠡县，之前我也来过这个地方所以自己对一些环境比较熟悉，自己可以从容的去寻找单位部门的地址。那天是早上出发上午十点到的，由于不知道一些领导上班的习惯，在加上时间比较晚所以上午没有进行业务拜访，到下午时候才出发，但是下午去了发现很多领导一般上午上班，下午或去下乡或去办事了总之很少有人在办公室呆着办公，我下午去的时候基本上都是扑空，很多主事的领导都不在，自己的任务等于没有完成，自己只能到第二天才来。
第二就是自己需要有耐心的等待和分析对方的信息，其实你要是真正见到那些领导他们不会说给你说的太多内容和信息，他们大多只是敷衍一下，你很少能知道什么实质性的内容或者根本上就没有。这就需要自己灵活的去让他们对你不产生陌生感已达到更多信息去分析对方对公司的认识度和产品的需求，有时候你等待一些领导需要一两个小时的时间。
第三自己在寻找的时候也会浪费很多时间，因为上午的时间没来就很有限所以你必须充分利用时间去尽力做更多事情，还有一到下午就会有很多空余的时间，所以需要包下午的时间利用下来，下午应该去跑工地单位，这样时间就不会浪费太多，也让自己不至于因为带着时间太长而无聊。
每次回来我就感觉自己好像什么事情也没有做似的，很多问题自己可能是因为经验不足导致自己在处理问题方法和态度上有很多差距所以很多客户信息并没有真正联系上，自己只是起到了一种简单宣传作用，很多时候自己根本上连宣传都没有，很多单位基本上没有想的那么容易接触，自己记录他们信息和一些内容有点过少。
再加之自己对一些产品没有熟悉掌握，没有对一些价格和性能进行详细的认知，在一些交流和沟通的时候有点问题，所以自己应该把基本功做好做扎实这样自己才能更好销售自己的产品，做一个具有职业能力的业务员。
很多事情只要你敢总结，敢去尝试很多困难都不是困难。世上无难事只怕有心人，不断才自己做错的和自己所犯的错误去分析自己，去让自己能从困难中学会经验学会技能学会适应，只有这样自己才能更快的成长，掌握比别人没有的知识，学会比别人没有的技能。告诉自己没有什么不可能只有自己不去做。
My favourite festival is Spring Festival. It’s in January or February. People in China celebrate it, and there are many things to do.
