Overcome difficulties in learning English
I have had many difficulties since I started to learn English. Since I come from the south of China, I can not distinguish nasal sounds from non-nasals and they sound exactly the same in my dialect.
Thus, I had a hard time telling “night” from “light” at the very beginning. My poor memory also added to the difficulties when I decided to enlarge my vocabulary. English words were so elusive that I could only remember them for a while.
I have spared no efforts to overcome the difficulties and finally succeeded. In order to tell the slight difference between nasal sounds and non-nasals, I forced myself to speak mandarin everyday.
Whenever I started to speak English, I reminded myself the difference between “night” and “light”.
At first I felt it rather unnatural, but as I went on I was gradually accustomed to speaking in this way.
As for my wretched memory, I gave up mechanical memorization and tried many other new ways.
At last I found a most efficient way for me: memorizing English words by their stems and affixes. This is how I have overcome some difficulties in learning English.
My approach to difficulties in learningAs school students , we run into one difficulty after another in the process of learning . Everyone has their own ways to deal with them . Here I would like to share I am faced with a difficulty , I usually choose to refer to relevant learning materials or web pages .
In this way , I can not only work it out but also improve my ability to overcome problems all by myself .However , when it is something beyond my competence , I turn to my classmates or teachers for help . Sometimes I also ask my parents for advice . As a result , I have made steady progress in my studies .
As we all know, there are three stages in studypreview, study in class and review, among whichreview is the most important. From my experience, I'd like to talk about the importance andsteps of review. Firstly, make a review plan with certain contents of subjects at acertain , carry on the review plan regularly.
Thirdly, examine what has been reviewed andmake supplement in time. One thing to remember is to keep notes all the time. I follow myreview plan strictly and have made progress in my study. It turns out to be good enough. Ofcourse, there is more than one way to review. So long as we review regularly, we can find moreways to improve our studies.
My Low-carbon Life
The environmental pollution is worse and worsetoday. Many trees are cut down, and water and air are polluted. As a student Itry to have a low-carbon life to save energy and reduce pollution.
Firstly, I often walk to school. It can reduceair pollution. Secondly, I always turn off the lights and fans when leaving theclassroom. Thirdly, I always make full use of paper and other school things andnever waste water.
I wish more students to join me and make theearth more and more beautiful.
When students are going to high school, they are under great pressure, because their main goal is to enter the college, so they need to work so hard. The school will test them so often that they want to get the best scores. Cheating on the exams is many students’ choice, as they could not do well on the exam, so they want to find the confidence by getting the high marks.
Other students even buy the exam answers, what they do is totally wrong. Frist, it will cost students a lot of money on buying the answer, it refers to spend their parents’ money, it is not easy to earn money. Second, the answers that students buy are not accurate all the time, most of the answers are wrong, students are easy to get cheated. Students should work hard to improve their study.
