Good morning everyone, it's my pleasure to be here and talk about dreams and ambitions with you. When I was a primary school student I wrote in my composition that I want to be a scientist when I grow up. At that age I didn't know what is a scientist, nor did I know what is dream. I wrote it because it's a standard answer for a composition test. And I know if I wrote that I want to be a peasant I would be criticized and laughed at, no matter what reason I gave it. But now in university, one of my classmates changed my idea. At the career planning class when asked about our dreams, one of my classmates stood up and said, xxx I want to be a peasant because I grow up in a peasant family and I love it.xxx No laughter, no criticism, he was the only who winned a clapping.
It sets me thinking, which should be a man's dream? a scientist, or a peasant? It's not a simple question and my answer is both. This is exactly my understanding of this topic. Dreams are something we really want and are willing to try every effort to achieve, no matter how great or how small, no matter how others think, it depends on you.
Life is long, and we are just on the starting point. Finally we'll understand life is not just about making a living. There're something much more important than money and material enjoyment, that is spiritual wealth, that is dream. It's the process of your pursuit of dream, the process when you are trying, when you are seeking, when you are struggling, when you failed and restarted again and again with your determination, hardwork, and perseverance that make you, build you, and help you to lead a worthy and significative life, whether you'll achieve your dream or not, the result is not that important.

今天，我们的整个新闪亮团队给大家带来一次这种学习的英语口语的机会，不仅人我们报一大堆的英语证书，为了和还可以和老外自由的沟通。让我看看向过四六级又想学好英语口语的人有多少。我就结合自身的经历，练习英语口语我一路的旅行一路的练习。1、抓住每一个沟通外语的机会，我自己呢就是搭讪老外，只要是外国人就不会放过机会，……………………（尼泊尔，荷兰）2、积极运用肢体语言…………3、找美国人或者年轻人 4、学会用自己已有的词汇表达（迪拜，阿拉伯塔酒店，又称迪拜帆船酒店）5学会猜（美国，湘雅医院）听了那么多事情你们就一定觉得我的英语很好，如果用中国应试教育的标准来说，我确实比较 low，我高中三年就高考英语及格而且是那种擦边球那种的，每次一做题目我都觉得正确答案有问题，题目明明是说我学到了什么，我学到了A正确答案确是告诉我学到了B。学到了什么不是学生说了算吗？反倒老师成我们肚子肥虫知道了。

I am a student from class 1 and my name is zou yu am very glad that I can have the chance to make a speech before you. The topic of my speech is 'We need friendship'.
The word 'friend' has many meanings. It can be a partner, a playmate as well as a confident. In all, our friends play an important role in our lives.
Maybe you will ask me 'What is friendship? '.some people say that friendship is a ray of sunshine in the dark. Friendship can make you away from darkness and can cheer you up at the same time.
Based on this, you may come up with another question 'Why we need friendship? '.We everyone needs friendship. No one can live alone. As life is full of difficulties, we need friends to support and help us out. Our friends give us warnings against danger. Our friends offer us advice with regard to how to deal with various situations. True friends share not only happiness, but also sadness.
As an old saying goes, a friend in need is a friend in deed. Fortunately, I have a true friend. She is not beautiful but very kind. Every time I met with problems, she gave me courage and confidence to overcome
difficulties. When I was in low spirits, she told me some funny jokes to cheer me up. When I caught in distress , she rushed to me to lend a helping hand. All these make it easy to stay with her. But every time when I greatly thanked her, she disappeared in the crowd.
Last but not the least. 'How should we make friends? 'Personally I think the most important thing is to be friendly. Cheerfulness is the basis of friendship. Believe it , smile is an attractive thing. A friendly person always thinks of others. People who refuse to consider others have few friends.
With friendship, life is happy and harmonious. Why don’t you treasure our friendship? Come on, everyone! Let’s try our best to make friends.

In the matter of courage we all have our limits. There never was a hero who did not have his bounds. I suppose it may be said of Nelson and all the others whose courage has been advertised that there came times in their lives when their bravery knew it had come to its limit.
I have found mine a good many times. Sometimes this was expected--often it was unexpected. I know a man who is not afraid to sleep with a rattle-snake, but you could not get him to sleep with a safety-razor.
I never had the courage to talk across a long, narrow room. I should be at the end of the room facing all the audience. If I attempt to talk across a room I find myself turning this way and that, and thus at alternate periods I have part of the audience behind me. You ought never to have any part of the audience behind you; you never can tell what they are going to do.
Ladies and gentlemen , good afternoon! i’m very glad to stand here and give you a short speech. today my topic is “youth”. i hope you will like it , and found the importance in your youth so that more cherish it.
first i want to ask you some questions:
1、do you know what is youth?
2、how do you master your youth?
youth is not a time of life, it is a state of mind ; it is not rosy cheeks , red lips and supple knees, it is a matter of the emotions : it is the freshness ; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life .
youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite , for adventure over the love of ease. this often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 . nobody grows old merely by a number of years . we grow old by deserting our ideals.
years wrinkle the skin , but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul . worry , fear , self –distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust .
whether 60 of 16 , there is in every human being ‘s heart the lure of wonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of what’s next and the joy of the game of living . in the center of your heart and my heart there’s a wireless station : so long as it receives messages of beauty , hope ,cheer, courage and power from men and from the infinite, so long as you are young .
Its beyond reproach that we will come across all kinds of difficulties and challenges in our life time .Some will be subjected to frequent sadness .Some will lose their way to move on .Thus,only when we equip ourselves with hope and courage can we finally succeed in the uncertain future.
Forrest Gump showed so great courage in the movie that he touched me a lot . For one thing,no matter when and where Jenny got into trouble ,Forrest Gump would bring her out of it without thinking how dangerous the situation would be .Maybe we should all fell ashamed that we love ourselves more than we love love ,but Forrest showed great courage in love .For another,Forrest gump risked his life to save Bubba in the courage that helped Forrest gain a series of honor after war .Forrest Gump is beautiful for his perseverance and touches others with his courage.

Courage is very important. Everyone needs it.
We will meet many difficulties in our life and sometimes we will fail, but we cant lose courage. If we lose courage, we cant do anything, because we dont dare to do anything; we are afraid of failure.
This is my Chinese teacher me in the first class. I agree with him. For example, we dont have the courage to hands up to say our answer, how can we know we are right or wrong. I will remember his word forever,” never lose courage .”
We can't have good luck forever,so learning how to face difficulities isimportant.
Some people feel upset when they meet difficulities,and they don't want totry to let their dreams come ture anymore.
They just want to find a place and stay at there for a long time.
So they won't have a great success in the end.
But others are different,some people don't think difficulities aretroubles,they believe xxx Difficulities is the mother of the success'' andxxxBelieve in myself and I will win '',they are confident and
brave,and they choose to face the difficulities with a smile.
They try their best to solve their problems and if they don't feelwell,they'll talk to their friends or family members,so that they can be happierand more they don't mind what others say about them,they canalways find a good way for themselves to relax.
I think if you can have a good psychology when you meet difficulities inyour life,and be more confident and brave, try to find a good way to relax,maybetalk to others or have a rest,and then think it over,make a plan to solve you do so, you'll find that your difficulities are not as difficultas you think before!
