I know trees get ready for their next year s rebirth by doing this, so I enjoy them without any sad feelings. The fields in autumn are fruity. People are easy to have good mood in a harvest season. So can t autumn sights bring happiness to us as well?
How many times have you heard the expression that most people spend more time planning their vacation than they do planning their lives. I would expand that expression by adding that most people spend more time _thinking_ about their vacation than they do thinking about what's important in their life.
While rest and relaxation are a must in living a balanced life, it's not what we were created to do. After all, the Master Creator took his R&R (Rest and Recreation) on the seventh day, only after six days of _definitely directed thought._

My friend Mike Litman wrote an outstanding article for his ezine this week. It's called _The Millionaire Composite_ and it *yzes one of the big differences between super-successful people and everyone else. He writes _I recently visited with a Real Estate Multi Millionaire Mogul. What did I see next to his desk? His vision statement, along with a list of what he values in life---hand written.
_A few months back, I interviewed an individual who has sold over a billion dollars worth of products on television. He told me that he reads his life and businevision and goals daily, and that he TAKES TIME to visualize exactly what he wants to create-EACH NIGHT before falling asleep._
What is your life's purpose or your personal mission statement? Is it written down? Do you review it and think about it often? Is your life organized around your purpose and a set of goals that support that purpose?
Without purpose and goals - definitely directed thought - you are like the proverbial _ship without a rudder._ There is power in your purpose and in your goals. It is the power that takes you over obstacles, the fuel that propels you toward the life you envision.
One of my favorite passages of James Allen is one he wrote in _The Mastery of Destiny_:
_All successful people are people of purpose. They hold fast to an idea, a project, a plan, and will not let it go; they cherish it, brood upon it, tend and develop it; and when assailed by difficulties, they refuse to be beguiled into surrender; indeed, the intensity of the purpose increases with the growing magnitude of the obstacles encountered._ And that's worth thinking about.

满页的圈圈和叉叉，教师改得辛苦疲惫，活泼好动的学生也会觉得混乱难以理解。如何能让学生关注评改的内容和信息呢?在这里我建议采用一些可行的趣味符号，一方面可减轻老师的负担，另一方面也给了学生最简洁的反馈信息。
比如：“∧”表示少了词语。例如：She usually goes to school∧bike.

三、创新评一评
无论学生的作文如何，作为教师要用肯定、鼓励、赞赏的态度来进行评改，改变传统枯燥的评改语言，采用具有吸引力的评改用语，是进行英语评改的一大创新。
1、婉约性评语
很多学生不太喜欢教师絮絮叨叨的批评，这种评改语言往往会挫伤他们的积极性以及自信心，每个学生的特点不同，教师应该根据学生的具体实际，对他们作出不同的评价。英语中的婉约性评语可以用来表达带批评含议的指导。常用的评语有：
“Don't you want to be the best student in our class?If be more confident!_
_Good job!Pay attention to your handwriting,ok?'
_How i wish you did your writing all by yourself!I think you can!_
2、欣赏性评语

四、重点批一批
摒除传统的由教师课后全批的评改方式，评改作文可以采用很多种科学有效的方法，如全批、面批、学生自批互批、课堂即做即批、重点范例引批等等。其中我认为最重要的是面批，叶圣陶先生指出：“给学生改作文，最有效的办法是面批”。面批可以是一对一、也可以是一对几，抓住机会对学生本次作文或者*时作文时出现的问题进行指导，比如字体潦草、词汇出错、语法混乱、态度不端正等等，这样面对面的评改不仅能体现因材施教的教学原则，还能增强师生之间的情感交流，有效地激发学生的写作动机。
总之，教师的作文评改技巧对学生的写作兴趣有着很重要的作用，只有摒除传统麻木枯燥的评改观念和模式，采取适合学生特点的评改技巧，才能真正提高学生写作的积极性和自信心，最终实现学生写作能力的有效提高。
