在温哥华，人与自然可以说是融为一体了。鸭子和人一样享有相同的待遇，一样受尊重，在鸭子遇见困难时，温哥华的人们还会去帮助它们呢。
那一天，鸭妈妈正带领着一群憨态可掬的小鸭子悠闲自得地散步呢。它们在街边大摇大摆的走着。瞧，鸭妈妈好像对这里的人们很放心，不担心有人会将它的小鸭宝宝捉去，很少回过头去看它的小鸭子。可是鸭宝宝也太淘气了。看，那个时不时踢踢腿，好像要在大街上跳舞似的。听，那个时不时仰头叫两声，想唱歌给人们听。嘿！那个掉队了！看它那副急急忙忙去追鸭妈妈的样子，真是太可爱了。可是，意外发生了……
不知道是哪几只顽皮的小鸭子，路过下水道时非要往里头瞅一瞅，好奇的看看。可是没想到，它们一失足竟然掉进了下水道里。其余的小鸭子立刻叫了起来，引起了走在前头的鸭妈妈的注意。下水道里的几只小鸭子叫得可厉害了，那叫声好似哭声一般，听得鸭妈妈好心疼。
危急时刻，鸭妈妈沉着冷静，立刻让自己的孩子们围在下水道两边，自己跑向马路中间的巡警面前。又是乱跳，又是叼巡警的腿，又是咬住巡警的裤脚不放……巡警看见鸭妈妈这副慌慌张张的样子，像是明白了什么。只见鸭妈妈用翅膀指了指小鸭子们围住的地方，巡警立刻意识到发生了什么事。三步两步跑到了“出事地点”，看到了下水道里被水快冲走的低声叫唤的小鸭，没想太多便直接跳进了下水道，还好下水道水不深，巡警立刻捞出了小鸭子。小鸭子一上岸，便欢叫个不停，靠在鸭妈妈的身边。鸭妈妈也欢喜的很，拍拍这个，摸摸那个，好像是责怪小鸭子太贪玩；又好像是因为小鸭子*安无事而高兴；更是在心里感激巡警的热情帮助。小鸭子也不停地蹭着巡警的腿呢。巡警目送着它们摇摇摆摆地上路了。
路上，每一辆车都在给鸭妈妈和它的小鸭子让路，鸭子们在过马路时昂首挺胸，丝毫不惧怕那些车辆。
人与自然的融合，在温哥华这里得到了完美的诠释。

Because of this, the number of the antelopes of Tibet has sharply fallen from over one million to less than one hundred thousand.
