I called on you twice this week, but you were out .I am writing to tell you that I cannot go for an outing with you this Sunday. My cousin is coming back home from the US this Sunday. As planned, all my relatives will gather for a family reunion dinner. That is why I cannot make a trip with you. I am very sorry for that.

Since my birthday is only two weeks away, I’d like to invite you to attend my birthday party and meet all my friends. I sincerely hope you say yes as I’m sure you will have a good time. One of my friends will pick you up then, and he will give you a call in advance.
