Three years ago, when Tyrone Duncan was jobless, recovering from a spinal injury and a stintin a homeless shelter, some volunteers at his transitional housing site encouraged him to run with them as they trained for a race.

So it’s no surprise when Duncan says running turned his life around. He is far from the only person in sneakers to make that claim. A growing number of national organizations are using the sport to help kids and adults facing such challenges as homelessness, drugs and cancer. They have a variety of names — Back on My Feet, Achilles International, Alex’s Lemonade Stand, Run to Recover — but all have turned to running for the psychological and physiological benefits that training for a race can bring.

I always think there is not enough time. For example，I have just taken a three-day holiday. But when I look back，I just feel that it‘s only one day. There goes a proverb，“Time is money”. Now I want to say，time is more precious than money，because when money is spent，we can earn some more again. However，when time is gone or lost,never will it return.

Time goes without being noticed. The time for our study and work is usually limited. So I think we must make full use of our time. But it‘s a pity that I am always not aware of the importance of time until it’s too late.

So I think，I should get into the good habit of saving time because wasting time is equal to wasting one‘s life. Do not put off what can be done today till tomorrow!

我总是认为没有足够的时间。例如，我刚刚完成了一个三天的假期。但当我回头看时，我只是觉得它只是一天。俗话说“时间就是金钱”，现在我想说的是，时间比金钱更宝贵，因为当钱花了，我们可以再挣一些。但是，当时间消失或失去，永远不会返回。

My favorite munity organizations play a big part in my education, High Fives Foundations Basics program being aizing hats and selling them. The people cliff-to-cliff. Skiing to me is freedom, and so is my education, its about being creative; doing things differently, its about community and helping each other. Its about being happy and healthy among my very best friends.

So Im starting to think, I know what I might want to do when I grow up, but if you ask me what do I want to be when I grow up? Ill always know that I want to be happy. Thank you.
