我的英语老师是郦老师，她有一点儿凶巴巴的，我有点害怕她。
郦老师有浓浓的眉毛，有水灵灵的眼睛。嘴巴红红的，鼻子高高的，头发油亮亮的。耳朵和眼睛都很灵敏，做小动作或讲话都逃不过她的眼睛和耳朵。
有一次，我们的考试考得很糟糕。郦老师当然很生气，在课上对我们怒气冲冲的，可以算一头老虎，我们都胆战心惊。李老师响亮的报了成绩，然后愤愤不平地说：“85分以下的请家长来见我！！”着实把我们下了一跳，我想：郦老师可真凶呀，幸好我不是85分以下，不然的话就惨了！别的同学也吓了一跳，郦老师的威力可真大呀！
还有一次，我们的班里闹哄哄的，郦老师被我们折腾的忍无可忍，又一次发怒，把我们教训了一通，那声音是震耳欲聋，响得不得了。我们一下子安静下来，李老师训斥了我们一顿我们就像一头温顺的绵羊一样地听着。
虽然郦老师很凶，但是她这也是为了我们好，我们要好好学习，不辜负郦老师的期望！！

王老师把我留了下来，让我重新写。直到我把单词写工整、规范为止，王老师才让我回家。我当时很恨王老师，心想：不就是几个单词吗？写好写坏不都是一样吗？干吗这么一遍又一遍地写，硬是把单词写规范，真是浪费时间。回到家，我把未按时回家的原因告诉了妈妈，妈妈对我说：“单词对于学习英语是基础，从写单词上能看出一个人的学习态度。王老师严格要求是对的，是对你负责，你学到知识是自己的，只有老师才会这样不厌其烦的要求你。”听了妈妈的一席话，我明白了老师的用意，使我更加敬佩王老师了。从那以后，我就像个一年级的小学生，天天中午坚持练英语字帖，无论写什么作业都坚持把字写工整，写规范。过了一段时间，我的单词比以前漂亮了，规范了，还多次受到老师的表扬。看到我的进步，王老师比我还高兴呢！这都是王老师严格要求的结果。
