Hangzhou is located on the eastern shore of China East Sea and on the riverside of Qiantang River. Marco Polo,a famous Italian traveller visited the city in the middle of Yuan Dynasty. Hangzhou has been one of the ancient capitals in Chinese functioned as the political,economic and cultural center in some dynasties. Hangzhou raise the fame with many famous temples and ancient pagodas. The beautiful West Lake is surrounded by hills from three parkes are situated everywhere alone the lakeside,which attract thousands of tourists home and abroad.
Hangzhou is the capital of Zhejiang province and its political, economic and cultural center. With its famous natural beauty and cultural heritages, Hangzhou is one of China's most important tourist venues.
The City, the southern terminus of the Grand Canal, is located on the lower reaches of the Qiantang River in southeast China, a superior position in the Yangtze Delta and only 180 kilometers from Shanghai. Hangzhou has a subtropical monsoon type climate with four quite distinct seasons. However, it is neither too hot in summer nor too cold in winter making it a year round destination.

Recently I have had a discussion about The Ways for Students to Relax with Terry, a student from Class One Grade Two . (As we study too long every day, every student should choose ways to relax.) In his opinion, the best ways are watching TV and playing computer games. He also believes that sometimes hanging out with friends isn’t a bad way.
However, I’m not quite agree with him. In my opinion, watching TV or playing computer games is not a good way to help us relax. I think listening to music and playing sports are good ways because they can help us keep healthy. I often play Pingpong after class and I find it really helpful to both my health and my study. Besides, I think chatting with our friends isn’t a bad way. I think it can help me get on better with my friends.
The city of Hangzhou lies in the southeast of China and faces the East Sea. It is famous for its beautiful West Lake with a long you come to this modern city you will see many parks and some places of interest around the West Lake. During the holidays or festivals or at the weekends, people like boating on the water or walking on the paths of the woods or sitting on the ground to have a picnic.
