It is said that the scene of sunrise is beautiful, but I had never seen it before.
It was so hot lastnight that I didnt sleep well. Early this morning I got up and came to the balcony to relax. Itwas cool outside. I looked up at the sky, the sparse stars twinkling there. Everything aroundme was dim. I gazed at the east, where the sky was lightening. After a while, the starsdisappeared and the buildings, trees, streets in the distance could be seen faintly. Slowly, thehorizon in the east was becoming reddish.
The red color extended continuously and wasbecoming thicker and thicker. At last the sun showed its face a little, gradually into a halfflaming ball, and whole ball appeared, shining brightly. Everything around me was clear. What abeautiful sunrise I saw!
The new year is coming soon, time flies and it is time for me to look back on the passed days, so as to improve myself. I remembered the targets that I made last year. I made up my mind to read some books and went to many places with friends. On the summer vacation, I did travel with my friends and we had a great time. I learned a lot during the trips and became more independent. But I didn’t finish the target to read books, the reason was that I was too busy with my study. I knew it was just an excuse for my weakness. I was just lazy sometimes, even I had enough time to finish my task. So in the new year, I must finish reading the books and broaden my vision. All I need is to read one hour a day.

It was summer, and my dad wanted to treat me to a vacation like never before. He decided to take me on a trip to the Wild West.

So, my dad and I put on our new cowboy hats, got on our horses, and headed slowly towards the mountains. “Don't be late for supper,xxx Uncle Paul cried, xxxand keep to the track so that you don't get lost!xxx “OK!xxx my dad cried back. After a while Uncle Paul and his farm house were out of sight. It was so peaceful and quiet and the colors of the brown rocks, the deep green pine trees, and the late aftermoon sunmixed to create a magic scene. It looked like a beautiful woven ( 编织的) blanket spread out upon the ground just for us.

Last week, we took the foreign students in our school to experience the authentic tea culture, which turned out be to extremely rewarding.
On arriving at the tea house, the foreign students were impressed by the unique tea pots and tea cups. I gave them a vivid and informative introduction of tea culture, including its profound history, its rich variety, and the exquisite craftsmanship of making tea with their interest greatly sparked, I then began to teach them how to make tea.
In order to deliver a clear presentation, I slowly explained the traditional procedure of making tea in detail. Absorbed in every move of mine, the foreign students were once again amazed by this unique culture and they couldn’t help taking pictures from time to time.
Next came the moment when I asked them to have a try themselves. Washing the tea pots, adding tea leaves, and pouring water into the cups, they followed my instructions and were really immersed in charming tea culture. The tea house witnessed a really enjoyable time for all of us.
At the end of the activity, holding the tea bags in our hands, we took a picture to memorize the unforgettable day. It suddenly hit me that traditional culture like tea culture was of great charm and huge value. And I swelled with pride to spread our own culture to people all over the world.
The People I Respect the Most
The people I respect the most is my father. He is a doctor. He always busy with work. Since I can remember, he never spent a whole weekend to stay with me. He goes to the hospital very early before I get up, and comes back home after I sleep. But I doesn’t matter at all, he is hero to me. He devotes almost all the time to his patients, many lives are saved. He always said, a man should have dignity, integrity, honor, and most of all, be helpful to others. This affected me deeply, so I work hard so that someday I could be the man like my father.
