　　I feel it a great honor to have a chance to give a speech here, talking about the haze weather, which causes lots of bad effects on our health and life. We breathe polluted air, making us suffer from lung and liver diseases. Besides, because of it, the flights have to be canceled. All kind of transports may run into each other, resulting in much damages and lots of injuries.

　　As far as I am concerned, it is high time that we did something. As individuals, we should ride the underground or buses instead of cars to reduce carbon dio__ide. As government, more measures should be taken by carrying out the related law on pollution.

　　In summary, we're all looking forward to breathe fresher air and live a happier life. Everyone should be a part of this job.

　　low-carbon is one of the most popular buzz-words in this year. Not only China but all countries focus on the topic of low-carbon.

　　Here, Id like to share my own e__perience abroad with you. Several years ago, I was very lucky to he an opportunity to live in the Australia about half a month. During that time, Not only did I enjoy the beautiful natural scenery there, but also I appreciated the peoples active way of protecting their environment. Now, whenever the environment protection is mentioned, the beautiful scenery of Australia will arise in my mind, white clouds flying across the blue sky, green grassplot sprinkled with colorful flowers and lovely squirrels playing happily among the trees.

　　As a citizen of China, if everyone can actively protect the environment in our daily life and if we would like to reduce our carbon footprint, the scenery of blue sky, green grass and lovely animals in Australia will appear in China, even in HeFei.

　　But I totally support the view, that is to say, Emotion without action is irrelevant! Do you unplug electronics after you use them? Do you switch off everything before you go to sleep? Do you adjust your TV screen a bit dimmer to se energy? Do you re-use water for different activities around the house? Each of these seemingly insignificant adjustments in your daily life can make a difference in sing the environment of tomorrow.

　　We all know that nothing is more fortable than sitting in the warmth of a hearted car while its snowing and hailing outside in the freezing coldBut with global warming and even global cooling being more pressing by the day, not to mention your own health, take a walk ,ride a bike ,reduce your carbon footprint on the environment .It is said that tiny streams can be bined into a vast ocean, small trees can be an immense forest, and every little makes a mickle.

　　low-carbon is not just a buzz-word but a goal that people from all over the world wanna get. So, reduce carbon footprint! Reduce damage! Se energy! Se the world!

　　It is undeniable that the worsening environment has become the biggest concern of the present-day world. Land resources are dwindling because of water loss and soil erosion. Waste gases poison the air we breathe. The rivers and lakes are polluted by waste dumped in them from factories. It is probably no e__aggeration to say that deterioration of the quality of the environment threatens the e__istence of mankind itself.

　　Some people are of the opinion that the environmental problem is the price we have to pay for economic development. But I do not think that this argument is valid. After all, what is the point of economic growth if people’s lives are adversely alfected by worsening environmental pollution?

　　There is plenty of evidence to show that sustainable development can be achieved by balancing economic growth with protection of the environment. The key to achieving this is to make people aware of the seriousness of the problem. Both governments and ordinary citizens should join hands to make this world a better place to live in, not only for ourselves, but also for future generations.

　　Chaina has put a ban on the use of much thinner plastic bags starting on June 1,20____.According to the ban people are not allowed to use super-thin plastic bags any more.And all the supermarkets are forbidden to provide customers the plastic bags for free. If the customers need a piastic bag, they must pay for it.

　　I think the ban is good for us, and it can protect our environment. As we all know, the plastic bags can cause the white pollution and pollute soli and water. Besides, producing plastic bags can waste much energy and make our earth worse.

　　So we should firmly carry out the ban sa that we can improve our environment. From now no, we should encourage our families and friends to use cloth bags or baskets. We mustn't litter the rubbish. And we should recycle plastic bottles, solt drink cans, and so on. I'm sure we can make our environment better.
