As an art of writing Chinese characters, Chinese calligraphy boasts a considerably long history. It is one of the highest forms of Chinese art, serving the purposes of conveying thoughts and showcasing the abstract beauty of lines of Chinese characters. It is also widely acknowledged that Chinese calligraphy plays a part in preserving the health of those who practice it, which is supported by the long lives of many calligraphers in Chinese history. When one is practicing calligraphy, he or she highly concentrates and is spellbound by the charm of the work, turning a blind eye and a deaf ear to unpleasant things. A sense of calm and relaxation and a comfortable psychological state take them over, which is highly beneficial to both the body and mind.

This is the aim of traditional Chinese painters: not only to describe the outer appearance of a subject but also to capture its inner essence—its energy, life force and spirit. They achieve this with the most economical means: brushes and ink. In order to reach this goal, they tend to reject the use of color. Like photographers who prefer to work in black and white, traditional Chinese artists regard color as the distraction. They also reject the use of light and shadow, which have changeable qualities. Instead, they rely on the line—the indelible mark of the brush and the ink. The reason why traditional Chinese painters can master this skill likely lies in their previous practice of calligraphy.

As autumn winds blow, leaves fall. Havingseparated from a tree, leaves decompose into theearth and eventually return to a tree's originalroots. Hence the saying: “fallen leaves are destinedto return to the root.”
The picture above depicts the motion of leaves towards the root, which in turn can beinterpreted as the intense bond Chinese feel towards their motherland.
More and more overseas Chinese are returning or have already returned to China. Despitethe length of time they have spent abroad, or regardless of the life they may have lead, theyare often disposed to return to their roots, to come home. It is commonly said that blood isthicker than water. Because they are grateful for their homeland's nourishment and support, they return to contribute to the construction of their country with the knowledge, experienceand wealth acquired abroad. This inclination is an expression of people's attachment to, andlove of, their homeland. Patriotism is a prevailing emotion among the overseas Chinese. TheChinese still living in China should also cherish and love their country, and give back with theirknowledge and actions in order to cultivate the country's present and future.

In recent years there has been a dramatic rise in the cell phones, which are now essentialto millions of people as a convenient form of communication. In the number reached315,000,000, with an average annual increase at 57,500,000.
Some people can now no longer imagine life without their cell phones. The fact that theyare so popular proves that they are useful and convenient. Cell phones enable people toeasily and quickly communicate with one another; wherever you are, you can instantly reachsomebody. Cell phones eliminate the trouble of not being able to meet someone in person, and therefore increase business's efficiency.
Mobile phones necessarily also harbor disadvantages. The radiation such phones emit ishazardous to one's health. Furthermore, if people become too reliant on the use of cell phones, our face to face skills may decline. Any new invention has its drawbacks, and such negativeaspects cannot always diminish its popularity. Despite the negative effects of television, forexample, the number of people who own televisions continues to grow at a tremendous is also the case with mobile phones. People won't stop eating just because of the riskofchoking. In addition, the swift development of science and technology will likely eliminatethe hazards cell phones may cause. One can safely predict, therefore, that with theintroduction of new techniques, mobile phones will have more applications and become evenmore appealing to customers.
There are many arguments about the advantages and disadvantages of people think examination is the only best way to test how examinees have mastered what they have studied and it is the only measurement for examiners to select which persons they , on the other hand, some object that examination cant measure how the students have really say it can do nothing but burden the students.
As for me,I think for both examiners and examinees, the examination can show what and how much the examinees have results of examinations are just like mirrors for both examiners and examinees.
Through examination the examinees can check their work and get aware of which aspects they have not done well,so that theyll make much improvement in their far as examinees are concerned, they can not only know how they have studied but also find out what they still unknown or what they havent mastered will be inspired to greater efforts to improve their studying method so as to make greater course too many examinations are burbens to both examiners and examinees.
In sum,the examination does more good than harm for both examiners and must take a correct attitude towards should take full advantage of it and avoid its disadvantage.
