Christmas Day,the 25th of December,is the biggest festival celebrated in the Christian countries of the everyone enjoys Christmas Day,it is particularly enjoyed by children,who get very excited because of the presents they know they are going to children believe that their presents are brought by Santa Claus. Santa Claus (also called“ Father Christmas)is a kind of old man ho,the children are told,lives at the North travels through the sky on a sleigh which is pulled by reindeers and loaded with on the roof of houses,he enters by climbing the small children go to bed on Christmas Eve,they hang a stocking at the end of their parents warn them not to try to look at Father Christmas,or he will not leave them they wake,they find their stockings filled with are very excited on Christmas morning and always wake up early. Christmas is also a family any members of the family as possible gather to eat,play party games and watch the special Christmas programmes on TV.
We are supposed to express our gratitude to others on Thanksgiving Day. However, we should feel gratitude every day.
God has two dwellings, one in heaven, and the other in a meek and thankful heart. Be grateful to others is a way to show your love.
In our daily life, we often receive help from our parents, friends, colleagues and strangers. Last summer holiday, I took a trip to Yunnan. It is in the southern part of our country .It is really a very beautiful place grand mountains, clean rivers and kind people. Trees and flowers are seen everywhere. Every year there are lots and lots of visitors.
Maybe you have heard about Shi Lin . There are all kinds of strange stones. Some of the small stones look like graceful girls; and the big stones look like handsome men. Other stones look like cats, peafowls, double-edged swords, mice, elephants and so on. Of all the stones, the stone like a beautiful girl in a legend is the most famous .Its name is A Shima.
I also went to Li Jiang. The roads in that city are just like the Eight Diagrams. Any road in the city goes to the center of Li Jiang. A river runs through the whole city. If you go along the river, youll never get lost. There are many ethnic minority people in Yunnan. They are very cordial. And they all like singing and dancing. We danced with them around the campfire that night. I really had a good time.
I like the elephants and fruits there best. An elephant is even taller than me! I even mounted the elephant, though I was very afraid at first. But the elephant seemed very friendly. I took some photos with it. The fruits there are very fresh and delicious. They are very good for our health.
The trip to Yunnan impressed me greatly. I will never forget it.
We are always educated to be an honest person, especially to our parents. While the fact is that every kid will lie to their parents in their lives. For me, my parents are very strict, I am not allowed to go out at night, because the news always reports the bad incidents happen at night. But night activity attracts me a lot, and my friends like to hang out for fun at night, so I choose to lie to my parents and tell them I am doing my homework with my friends. Now as I grow up, I realize it is not right to tell lies, so I decide to be honest to my parents. Once they realize that I am not a little kid anymore, then I will have my right to do what I want.

There are many ways for us high school students to relax ourselves. As for me， when I feel stressed， I usually communicate with my friends， parents or teachers. Sometimes I will do sports with our classmates， such as riding bikes， going swimming and so on. I go to the movies or listen to light music in my spare time， too. What’s more， going on a trip in holiday is another way to make me relaxed. I believe， if we are more relaxed， we’ll live happier， be healthier and learn better.
All of us experience failure and are afraid of it. However, every coin has two sides. Failure also has its advantages. Conflicts with others are common in everyday life. During the basketball game yesterday afternoon, Su Hua and Li Jiang bumped into each other, trying to catch the ball. Then they started
shouting and yelling, and it turned into a horrible quarrel.
To be honest, it was Su爷s fault but Li was also to blame—they were not calm enough and both said some really mean things. They cared too much about winning and losing. As a matter of fact, blocking, pushing and bumping are just part of a tough game.
To avoid such conflicts, we should be kind to one another, which is essential to enjoying a
harmonious life. It is also a virtue to forgive and forget, especially in such a competitive and
stressful society. Instead of blaming each other, we should communicate more and put ourselves in

On the twenty-fourth of December, all children are very excited. Usually they are sent to bed early so that their parents can get the presents ready. The younger children think that Father Christmas will come down the chimney or fireplace , so they hang up a sock for him to put presents in. The greedy ones even hang up a pillow-case④ or a sack⑤ to try to get more presents. Later that night, Father or Mother will put presents in the sock, and leave others at the side of the bed.
On Christmas morning, the children wake up very early. Some even turn on the light at two o‘clock, and most of them are awake by six o‘clock although it is not light in England for another hour or two at this time of the look for their presents , and the young ones play while the dinner is prepared. At about one o‘clock in the afternoon, the Christmas dinner is brought in . The turkey or chicken is quickly eaten . Children search in their Christmas pudding for new coins which are hidden in it . The rest of the day is full of games and eating until the happiest of all Christmas hollidays comes to an end.
