There has been a hot topic recently about college students’ being encouraged to help children in the poor and remote areas.
Generally aid-education is helpful in two aspects. First of all, it can broaden volunteers’ horizons in poverty-stricken regions. For instance, it is a golden opportunity for volunteers to experience a completely different life. In addition, college students have to adapt themselves to the harsh living conditions, meanwhile they can make friends with the children.
In my view, the future of China’s education depends on the joint efforts of the society, the government and all the citizens. To sum up, we college students should take the initiative in response to the appeal for supplying help to children in poor regions.
Have you ever had a feeling of depression caused by fatigue, loss of appetite and irritability upon returning to school or working from holidays? If so, don't panic; you just suffer from the so-called post-holiday syndrome, a catchword which has caught our attention in recent years. As can be told from its symptoms, the syndrome has negative impacts on our life, work, study and health.
There are two main reasons accounting for post-holiday syndrome. To begin with, tracing the syndrome to its source, it is usually caused by irregular lifestyles and overindulgence in the holiday. Furthermore, psychologically speaking, we find it extremely hard to readjust ourselves to the regular schedule after throwing us into thoroughly relaxed lifestyle.
So what can we do to avoid post-holiday syndrome? In my opinion, the most effective way to nip the syndrome in the bud is to keep the same lifestyle during the holiday. Another approach to keep post-holiday syndrome at bay is to retain an optimistic and positive frame of mind, which can help us to stay away from negative moods.
As is shown in the carton, people are often aroused with the feeling of anger or sympathy in this new media age when abundant information just swells within sight. The picture vividly reveals that modern people tend to receive and believe what they get from the media and then react to it directly.
From my perspective, one should think twice upon receiving online comments and speech. To start with, online information could be ungrounded and fictitious just to impress and catch attention. For instance, rumors go around that a celebrity couple is expecting a baby. What's more, reports online could be one-sided, that is to say, they are providing incomplete information and seeing things from one angle. In this way, it is hard for the audience to judge right from wrong, especially when the public opinions lean towards one side.
As an old saying goes, ^v^Better don't read if you believe everything you read.^v^ Likewise, one should make his own judgement based on real facts and experience in the era of information explosion.

Basic requirements are familiarity with the theme of the conference and proficiency of English. Other requirements include interpersonal communication ability, familiarity with our city in terms of its tourist attractions and its history, proper manners, and sense of responsibility. Priority and preference will be given to those experienced, either in international conference or in other similar activities.

During the period from 1997 to 20_, the number ofmarriage decreased from million to million,while the number of divorce rose from million to million.
We believe that three reasons may account for thisphenomenon.
First, young people of marriage age are becomingfewer and fewer because of the family planning policy adopted sincethe late 1970s.
Second, the current society is one where fierce competition takes place everywhere, and many young people can’t and won’t get married before they embark on a promisingcareer.
Third, today’s people put more and more emphasis on independence and freedom— they won’t get married before they find an ideal partner, and they will not hesitate to say goodbye when the spark of love dies down.
The great change, in my mind, signals the fundamental shift in people’s view on family andmarriage.
This trend will probably continue as contemporary people pay more and more attention tohigh-quality marriage.
