Air is all around us. It is around us as we walk and play. From the time we were born air is around us on every side. When we sit down, it is around us. When we go to bed, air is also around us. We live in air. We can live without food or water for a few days, but we cannot live for more than a few minutes without air. We take in air. When we are working or running we need more air. When we are asleep, we need less air. We live in air, but we cannot see it. We can only feel it when it is moving. Moving air is called wind. How can we make air move? Here is one way. Hold an open book in front of your face, close it quickly. What can you feel? What you feel is air.
This morning I got up early and went to the market to buy some vegetables instead my mother for the first time.
The market was very crowded and busy with nearly all kinds of goods on display. Some sellers were shouting at the top of their voice to attract the attention of the people. Housewives were picking out vegetables and bargaining with the sellers. A man was selling fresh fish, which were swimming in a big basin, and a lot of buyers crowded around it and chose what they wanted. One fruit seller, standing behind piles of fresh fruit, greeted me Warmly, trying to persuade me to buy some. He felt a little disappointed when I shook my head.
What a busy and noisy market!
To a large degree, the measure of our peace of mind is determined by how much we are able to live in the present moment.Irrespective of what happened yesterday or last year, and what may or may not happen tomorrow, the present moment is where you are --always.
Without question, many of us have mastered the neurotic art of spending much of our lives worrying about a variety of things --all at once.We allow past problems and future concerns to dominate our present moments,so much so that we end up anxious, frustrated, depressed, and hopeless.
On the flip side,we also postpone our gratification, our stated priorities, and our happiness, often convincing ourselves that ‘someday’ will be better than today.Unfortunately, the same mental dynamics that tell us to look toward the future will only repeat themselves so that xxxsomeday xxx never actually arrives.
John Lennon once said,‘Life is what’s happening while we’re busy making other plans.’When we’re busy making ‘other plans’,our children are busy growing up,the people we love are moving away and dying, our bodies are getting out of shape, and our dreams are slipping away.In short,we miss out on life.
Many people live as if life were a dress rehearsal5 for some later date.It isn’t.In fact,no one has a guarantee that he or she will be here tomorrow. Now is the only time we have, and the only time that we have any control over. When our attention is in the present moment,we push fear from our minds.Fear is the concern over events that might happen in the future--we won’ t have enough money, our children will get into trouble,we will get old and die, whatever.
To combat fear, the best strategy6) is to learn to bring your attention back to the present.Mark Twain said,‘I have been through some terrible things in my life, some of which actually happened.I don’t think I can say it any better.Practice keeping your attention on the here and now.Your efforts will pay great dividends7).
I imagine a lot about lives in the future.
I think two words can summarize my imagination. The first word is fast. In the future we will have more quickly transportation means. Now matter how far we go it takes only a short time. With the development of science and technology we can travel to the moon Mars or somewhere outer space. People may can live in other planets. The second word is convenient. Because of the fast development of our society many work can be done by computers or even robots. Lots of things are fully automated.
Humans just need to give some simple instructions to complete complecated tasks.
Time is important to everyone. Lost time will never come back.
We must keep this in mind in our daily life and make the best use of our time. Only in this way can we succeed in life.
How can we make full use of our time? First of all, we'd better make a plan. We should arrange our study, work and rest.
We can know what we should do next so that we can save as much time as possible when we study or work, we should put our hearts into it.
We should spend every minute on a period of time's study and work we can take a good rest.
I think that all of us should emphasize using our time effectively.
All of life is an act of letting go, but what hurts the most is not taking a moment to say goodbye.
If every unfolding we experience takes us further along in life, then, we are truly experiencing what life is offering.。。
I'm grateful. It's the plain truth: without Richard Parker, I wouldn't be alive today to tell you my story。
It was a time filled with wonder that I'll always remember.
Pi: “Which story do you prefer? ” Writer: “The one with the tiger。” Pi: “And so it goes with God。”
Then Richard Parker, companion of my torment, awful, fierce thing that kept me alive, moved forward and disappeared forever from my life.
Pi: “Religion is a house with many rooms。” Writer: “But no room for doubt?”Pi: “Oh yes! On every floor。”
I must say a word about fear. It is life’s only true opponent. Only fear can defeat life.
Wherever you are, and whoever you may be, there is one thing in which you and I are just alike at this monment, and in all the moments of our existence. We are not at rest, we are on a journey. Our life is a movement, a tendency, a steady, ceaseless progress towards an unseen goal.
We are gaining something, or losing something, or losing something, everyday. Even when our position and our character seem to remain precisely the same, they are changing. For the mereadvance of time is a change. It is not the same thing to have a bare field in January and in July. The season makes the difference. The limitations that are childlike in the child are childish in the man.
Everything that we do is a step in one direction or another. Even the failure to do something is in itself a deed. it sets us forward or backward. the action of the negative pole of a magnetic needle is just as real as the action of the positive pole. To decline is to accept--the other alternative.
Are you nearer to your port today than you were yesterday? yes, you must be a little nearer to some port or other for since your ship was first launched upon the sea of life, you have never been still for a single monment, the sea is too deep, you could not find an anchorage if you would, there can be no pause until you come into port.
It's so hot that people are exhausted by the hot sun. People walk in the street under the shade of trees, which can't be exposed to the sun. This kind of tree on the sidewalk is called camphor tree.
There are rows of camphor trees on the sidewalk. They are all green leaves in spring, summer, autumn and winter. Dark brown tree pole, luxuriant foliage, really like a big umbrella. That shy string of camphor hiding under the leaves, summer like green pearls, autumn like purple grapes, beautiful.
I love the beautiful camphor tree. It is not divided into spring, summer, autumn and winter. It is lush all the year round. It will linger after being shown.
Spring festival journeyLast year I went to my friend’s hometown to enjoy the spring festival. It was very happy and I had a fascinating time friend’s hometown is Shao Guan city. It was my first time to take the train. Firstly I was exciting and didn’t feel tire for the five hour journey. After stepped off the train, I was attracted by the beautiful scenery and flash friend’s family was hospitably and served me the local food there. It’s spicy but delicious. My friend took me to the hills to collected nuts and sold them at the marketed. It’s a very unforgettable experience. I love this spring festival journey so much.

Contains LiuYi loved math. The teacher gave his problems are solved one by one. He is more love self-effacing person, taking the old man across the street, give a guest pour tea, let others take full of toys and other things in his childhood. Said he to help people, I once and he took the best part of the xxxgiantsxxx kapoor toys, ZZ came and looked at me, asked me to lend him, I shook my head to say: xxxwhen you have a toy, also did not give me!xxx I haven't say that finish, contains LiuYi has stretched out his hand and gave him a toy, said: xxxthis to you!xxx ZZ is so happy, I am ashamed. After respectively with him, I learned a lot from him. Borrowing things such as someone looking for me, I will be generous to others, because I am from LiuYi containing that learned to obey. If there is a problem I can't, I will also be fools, because I learn modestly from LiuYi contain.
Now as long as a closed his eyes, his little figure will emerge in my mind. The big ears, small eyes, frame, cock mouth hum is so cute! No matter what, he is my good friend -- LiuYi contain.

Habits, whether good or bad, are gradually formed. When a person does a certain thing again and again, he will be obliged to do it in the same way by some unseen force. Once a habit is formed, it's difficult or even impossible to change or get rid of it. Therefore, it's of great importance that we should pay attention to the formation of habits.
Good habits have many advantages. For example, going to bed early and rising early help us build a healthy body. Diligence helps to success. Honesty helps to win the respect and trust of others.
If we form bad habits, such as rudeness, laziness, lying and stealing, we might be mind by these habits.
In short, good habits helps us be better and bad habits make us worse, so we should try hard to form good habits and keep far from bad habits.
Tucked away in our subconsciousness is an idyllic vision. We see ourselves on a long trip that spans the continent. We are traveling by train. Out the windows, we drink in the passing scene of cars on nearby highways, of children waving at a crossing, of cattle grazing on a distant hillside, of smoke pouring from a power plant, of row upon row of corn and wheat, of flatlands and valleys, of mountains and rolling hills, of city skylines and village halls.
But uppermost in our minds is the final destination. On a certain day at a certain hour, we will pull into the station. Bands will be playing and flags waving. Once we get there, so many wonderful dreams will come true and the pieces of our lives will fit together like a completed jigsaw puzzle. How restlessly we pace the aisles, damning the minutes for loitering — waiting, waiting, waiting for the station.
“When we reach the station, that will be it!” we cry. “When I’m 18.” “When I buy a new 450SL Mercedes Benz.” “When I put the last kid through college.” “When I have paid off the mortgage.” “When I get a promotion.” “When I reach the age of retirement, I shall live happily ever after!”
Sooner or later, we must realize that there is no station, no one place to arrive at once and for all. The true joy of life is the trip. The station is only a dream. It constantly out distances us.
“Relish the moment” is a good motto, especially when coupled with Psalm 118:24: “This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” It isn’t the burdens of today that drive men mad. It is the regret over yesterday and the fear of tomorrow. Regret and fear are twin thieves who rob us of today.
So stop pacing the aisles and counting the miles. Instead, climb more mountains, eat more icecream, go barefoot more often, swim more rivers, watch more sunset, laugh more and cry less. Life must be lived as we go along. Then the station will come soon enough.
There are many small fish in our pond, including grass carp, crucian carp, carp...... They are swimming around happily in the big pond and living happily.
All the little fish are greedy. As soon as you see the food, you rush to the food. Sometimes, when we are fishing, they see the bait on the hook and rush to swim to eat it, but the fish that eats the bait is eaten! It's really smart, but it's wrong!
When they are excited, they like to jump out of the water and wag their tails in the air. However, if the fish in the water tank jump out of the water tank, they will die of water shortage. What a joy!
I like the small fish in our pond. Although they are naughty, they are more lovely!

1、Nobody understands when a woman makes a choice to marry and have children, in one way her life begins, but in another way, it stops. You build a life of details, and you just stop and stay steady, so that your children can move. And when they leave, they take your life of details with them. You are expected to move on again, but you don't remember what it was that moved you, because no one's asked you in so long. Not even yourself.

The significant inscription found on an old key xxxIf I rest, I rustxxx would be an excellent motto for those who are afflicted with the slightest taint of idleness. Even the most industrious might adopt it with advantage to serve as a reminder that, if one allows his faculties to rest, like the iron in the unused key, they will soon show signs of rust and, ultimately, cannot do the work required of them.
Those who would attain the heights reached and kept by great men must keep their faculties polished by constant use, so that they may unlock the doors of knowledge, the gate that guard the entrances to the professions, to science, art, literature, agriculture --- every department of human endeavor.
Industry keeps bright the key that opens the treasury of achievement. If Hugh Miller, after toiling all day in a quarry, had devoted his evenings to rest and recreation, he would never have become a famous geologist. The celebrated mathematician, Edmund Stone, would never have published a mathematical dictionary, never have found the key to science of mathematics, if he had given his spare moments to idleness. Had the little Scotch lad, Ferguson, allowed the busy brain to go to sleep while he tended sheep on the hillside instead of calculating the position of the stars by a string of beads, he would never have become a famous astronomer
Labor vanquishes all --- not inconstant, spasmodic, or ill-directed labor, but faithful, unremitting, daily effort toward a well-directed purpose. Just as truly as eternal vigilance is the price of liberty, so is eternal industry the price of noble and enduring success.
Making friends is a skill like many other skills. It improves with practice. If you want to meet people and make friends, you must be willing to take some actions. You must first go where there are people. You won’t make friends staying home alone. Join a club or a group. Taking with those who like the same things as you do is much easier. Or join someone in some activities. Many people are nervous when talking to new people. After all meeting strangers means facing the unknown. And it’s human nature to feel a bit uncomfortable about the unknown. Most of our fears about dealing with new people come from doubts about ourselves. We imagine other people are judging us of finding us too tall or to short, too this or too that. But don’t forget that they must be feeling the same way. Try to accept yourself as you are and try to put the other person at ease. You’ll both feel more comfortable.
Try to be self-comfident even if you don’t feel that way. When you enter a room full of strangers, such as a new classroom, walk tall and straight, look directly at other people and smile.
If you see someone you like to speak to, say something . don’t wait for the other person to start a conversation.
Just meeting someone new does not mean that you will make friends with that person-friendship is based on mutual liking and “give and take”. It takes time and effort to develop.
A Prayer
The supreme desire of my heart is not to be learned, rich, famous, powerful or “good”, but simply to be radiant1. I want to radiate health, cheer, calm, courage and good will.
I wish to live without hate, jealousy, envy and fear. I wish to be simple, honest, frank, natural, clean in mind and clean in body, unaffected —ready to say “I don’t know” if in fact I don’t, to meet all men in terms of absolute equality and to feel unafraid of any obstacle.
I wish others to live their lives, too, to their highest, fullest and best. To that end I pray that I may never interfere, dictate, give unwanted advice, or assist when my services are not needed. If I can help, I’ll do it by giving a person the chance to help himself; and if I can uplift or inspire, let it be by example, inference and suggestion, rather than by order or assertion. That is to say, I desire to be radiant — to radiate life.
Freda Bright says, xxxOnly in opera do people die of love.xxx It's true. You really can't love somebody to death. I've known people to die from no love, but I've never known anyone to be loved to death. We just can't love one another enough.
A heart-warming story tells of a woman who finally decided to ask her boss for a raise in salary. All day she felt nervous and apprehensive. Late in the afternoon she summoned the courage to approach her employer. To her delight, the boss agreed to a raise.
The woman arrived home that evening to a beautiful table set with their best dishes. Candles were softly glowing. Her husband had come home early and prepared a festive meal. She wondered if someone from the office had tipped him off, or... did he just somehow know that she would not get turned down?
She found him in the kitchen and told him the good news. They embraced and kissed, then sat down to the wonderful meal. Next to her plate the woman found a beautifully lettered note. It read, xxxCongratulations, darling! I knew you'd get the raise! These things will tell you how much I love you.xxx
Following the supper, her husband went into the kitchen to clean up. She noticed that a second card had fallen from his pocket. Picking it off the floor, she read, xxxDon't worry about not getting the raise! You deserve it anyway! These things will tell you how much I love you.xxx
Someone has said that the measure of love is when you love without measure. What this man feels for his spouse is total acceptance and love, whether she succeeds or fails. His love celebrates her victories and soothes her wounds. He stands with her, no matter what life throws in their direction.
Upon receiving the Nobel Peace Prize, Mother Teresa said, xxxWhat can you do to promote world peace? Go home and love your family.xxx And love your friends. Love them without measure.

Occasionally, life can be undeniably, impossibly difficult. We are faced with challenges and events that can seem overwhelming, life-destroying to the point where it may be hard to decide whether to keep going. But you always have a choice. Jessica Heslop shares her powerful, inspiring journey from the worst times in her life to the new life she has created for herself:

In 20_ I had the worst year of my life.
I worked in a finance job that I hated and I lived in a concrete jungle city with little greenery. I occupied my time with meaningless relationships and spent copious quantities of money on superficialities. I was searching for happiness and had no idea where to find it.
Then I fell ill with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) and became virtually bed bound. I had to quit my job and subsequently was left with no income. I lived with my boyfriend of then only 3 months who financially supported me and our relationship was put under great pressure. I eventually regained my physical health, but not long after that I got a call from my family at home to say that my father’s cancer had fiercely progressed and that he had been admitted to a hospice.
I left the city and I went home to be with him.
He died 6 months later.
My father was a complete inspiration to me. He was always so strong that, for a minute after he drew his last breath, I honestly thought he would come back to life. I couldn’t believe I would never again cuddle into his big warm chest and feel safe no matter what.
The grief that followed was intense for all of us 5 children and our mother, but we had each other.
But my oldest sister at that time complained of a bad back. It got so bad after 2 months that she too was admitted to hospital.
They discovered that she had highly advanced cancer in her bones and that there was nothing that they could do.
