It was Saturday, just before May Day. My classmates and I went to the park nearby, we didn't go there for amusement but took part in voluntary labor.
We got there at 9：00. We were divided into three groups and then began working. The students in Group One planted trees and watered flowers. The task for Group Two was collecting the litter left about by tourists and cleaning the benches. The group I was in got to the Children's Playground and wiped all the equipment clean. We worked very hard. At 11：00, when all the work was finished up, all my classmates met again. Although everyone was in a sweat, yet we felt happy because we had done good job
Nowadays, we can see some boys and girls who live in a small world of their own. They bury themselves among books and are proud of themselves. They think that it will make them lose their face if they do housework for they often think themselves very noble.
These young people are wrong. In my opinion every student should have a knowledge of housework. After all, they will have a family of their own, and they should do their part in keeping a good home. Boys should also learn to do housework, for what will they do if they remain single? Though not all boys remain single, yet they will be very helpful in the family if they know some housework. Anyhow they will not lose anything, but, on the contrary, they will gain something useful.
For what I said above, we can find some examples of our fellow-students studying abroad. All young men do housework as girls do. Someone would argue that we can employ servants. This is true. However, what shall we do if the servant leaves us and all things are left to ourselves? We just cannot leave our clothes as they are and let worms and ants eat them up. And what can we do it we go and study in a foreign country where servants are out our means to employ?
We must work for ourselves. Why not start to learn to do housework now or else it will be too late?Everyone should learn to do housework. What do you think about my idea, boys and girls?
After dinner, my first job was to get the dirty dishes to the kitchen. Then I began to wash them. I turned on the tap and water covered all the dishes in the sink. Then I added some detergent to the water. Maybe I put too much, so it was full of bubbles in the sink. It was just like a bubble bath for dishes and bowls. I caught a bowl to wash. It was slippery. xxxPang!xxx The bowl slipped from my fingers. It dropped into the sink and broke another bowl and a dish. It was terrible! There was only one dish left.
In the end, my mother cleared the pieces and helped me clean the dishes. I think Ill do a better job next time.
I spent this holiday very quick, on the 1st May, we went to the Zoo, there were crowded there, so many travelers coming from all over the country to have some fun during the holidays.
On 2nd May, I visited my relatives with my parents, we had a great lunch together, the resturant were crowded as 3rd May, we went to shopping in the mall, after the shopping we went to watch a new movie.
All the other days leftI didnt go anywhere, no only becasue I still have some homework,but also the there were almost all crowded in the everywhere!
Last Sunday, I did housework with my mother at home. My duty was cleaning my bedroom and sorting the bookshelf. After breakfast, I started my work. I first arranged books on the shelf. Previously, most books were my textbooks, but I wanted to do some changes. I picked up the textbooks on a cartoon and put the books I read at spare time on the shelf. And then I started to clean my bedroom.
Because mother cleaned it almost everyday, so my task was not so heavy. After I finished my own duty, I helped mother with other works. Before lunch, we finished all the housework.
Today is May Day. I am very happy. In the morning I go to a park with my parents. We go there by bus. There are many people in the bus because it is a holiday. There are many people in the park.
There are many children there. Some are playing by the are singing and dancing in the park. I join them. I play happily. We have a good time today. We come back late in the afternoon.
Every family has lots of housework. Everyone should learn to do some of it. I often help my parents do housework such as washing clothes, cleaning the room and watering flowers. I think I‘ve learned how to take good care of myself and my family by doing housework.
Sometimes cleaning all the windows is an enjoyable experience. I really felt proud of myself. And doing housework is also a kind of exercise.
The summer holiday is coming. Im going to learn how to cook some dishes. My parents will be happy to enjoy them.
Today my classmates and i went to the park to do some volunteer labor, which was to weed the park. While we were doing that, a lot of turists passed by us, looking at us curiously. And even some of them came up to ask what we did that for and how much we were paid for that. Some of us students were shy to answer those questions. I put the dishes from the water room, see the rest of the noodles, I said: xxxMom, I put the noodles refrigerator?xxx my mother told me to put cold noodles. And then I began to wash the dishes.

Some parents think that it is necessary and sometimes important for students to do some housework. Housework is a kind of physical exercise necessary for mental development. Other parents,however,think that it is study that is of extreme importance to students. Priority shou[d first and foremost be given to study both at school and at home. Hence students should be exempt from any tedious and time-consuming housework.
I think students should share some housework with their parents. The reasons are as follows. First,doing some housework can enable the students to have some sense of responsibility. There is a lot of housework in each family. As a member of the family,each one should do his or her share. Since a student is a member of the family,undoubtedly,he is of no exception. In the second place,doing some housework can give the student opportunities to get to know his parents better. By doing housework,a student will know how hard it is for his parents to go to work everyday while raising afamily. He will make even greater efforts in his study later on. Finally,doing some housework can give the student a chance to do some physicalexercises. Since the student has to sit studying most of the time,this is certainly beneficial to his health.
In light of the above,I strongly recommend that those who are not in the habit of doing housework start doing some right now. Your parents will be pleased and you will learn something from it.
During the May 1st Labor Day vacation I spent my time productively. First I had to get my schoolwork out of the way. I separated all the assignments by subject and began working on them. One by one I completed those assignments and checked over them. After a few hours of hard work I finally finished.
Time to have some fun! I quickly grabbed my football and began running towards the door. On my way out I saw my parents hard at work with spring cleaning. Even though I really wanted to relax and go play I decided to help my parents out instead. First I helped my father clean the windows. There‘s a lot of dirt flying around outside so it took a lot work to make the windows spotless.
Afterwards I went and helped my mom with the floor by bring buckets of water back and forth for her mop. Time goes by fast when you‘re busy at work and soon we found ourselves looking at a clean and beautiful home. We were very proud of the work we had done and that‘s a great feeling to discover on this Labor Day.
Last week I took part in a farmwork programme in the suburbs.
At the class meeting, our teacher told us about the programme with the theme xxxWorking is most beautifulxxx. And ne stressed the importance of working with our own hands.
When I got home, I packed up my luggage for the trip.
On the farm, we helped pick watermelons. While working, I realised how hard it was to work in the fields under a hot sun.
When I came back home, I shared my experiences with my parents. And they were very proud of me.
I think it's very important and necessary for kids to do some housework at it is because they just spend too much time doing homework without having any rest. Doing housework not only help them rest but also do some body exercise. Secondly,kids should learn how hard-working their parents are and thus learn to be me,I can do lots of housework. For example,I can do the dishe,I can cook,I can sweep the floor,and I can also water the flowers. What's more,I can set the table and so on.
Labor is the most glorious thing. We all need to work, but there are always some people who want to get something for nothing. Labor is not a matter of one person, it is a matter of all of us. Each of us must be diligent to create a better tomorrow.
This morning, the next school teacher said that the leaders of the province would come in the afternoon. The teacher arranged for us. All the girls brought dishcloth. Whos home to wipe the glass again? I raised my hands high, some boys raised their hands, and the teacher asked who had a brush to brush the wall? I raised my hand excitedly. The teacher said take it with you in the afternoon.

Today, May 1, labor day, mom and dad are at home, but I always see their shadows busy. My mother was arranging the room, and dad was sweeping the floor. They were all too busy, but I watched TV in a leisurely way. I thought, xxxwhat should I do in the labor day?xxx So I saw my schoolbag worn by the desk. I think, xxxnow my job is to sew school bagsxxx.
So I startedfroma small box with a green line and a needle. I look left, right look, I dont know how to sew. So I ask mother rang, mother first a few stitches to me, then call my own sewing, see. I spent a tremendous effort, our fingers bleed, with only the bag break stitch.
Though I have stitched a long needle and a short needle, it is crooked, but I cant say it in my heart.
This Labor Day is also a hands-on move. Its a great harvest.

On Thursday, we returned home with many gifts from our trip. I tried to get some rest. At night, I chatted with my classmates on the phone, and I watched CCTV before going to bed.
From Friday on, I started to finish up my homework assignments on my personal laptop. Some of my assignments were quite boring. After I finished the homework, I emailed them to my teachers. That was the end of it. I started to prepare things for school on this coming Monday.
All in all, I enjoyed my May Day Holiday in many ways.

Finally, to do some housework can share your parents’ work .They must be happy if you say” Have a rest ,and I will do the housework”.

May first is a Sunday. And it is the Labor's Day. My mother said to me:xxxOpen your eyes!And look out of the window. What a fine day! Let's go to park,xxxSo my mother, my classmate and I went to the park. We took some foods in my schoolbag. On the way to the park. I saw the blue sky with snow-white clouds. I saw pear trees and some apple trees and so on. Below the trees, there are several kinds of flowers. It's colorful, blue, red, yellow, pink, purple, orange and white. March 12 is our Tree Planting have decided to go and plant trees that the students in our school are supposed (required)to take part in the class must take five or six basins to water the young are to take spades to dig holes.
We are going to gather on the school playground at seven on the morning of March then,we will take our school bus to the West dont be late or you.
Nowadays, some students don’t help their parents do housework at home.
Some parents love their children too much and don’t let them work at home. On one hand, they think that their children are too busy with their studies and expect them to do well in their lessons only. On the other hand, they think their children don’t know how to do the housework.
However, I think students should help their parents do housework at home. First, that can develop their love for work. Next, that can help them understand their parents better. Last and the most important, that can help them cultivate their ability to live.
May 1st is international labor day, on that day, we will experience the joy of labor with industrious hands.

It was March 12th. It was Chinese Tree Planting Day. The weather was nice. I went to plant trees with my parents. After we got to the park, we began to work. We dug holes and put the trees into the holes. My mother and I watered the trees. Trees are very important for people. They can stop the wind and sound. Growing trees means saving people ourselves. We worked very hard.
When the sun went down, we came back home. We were very tired, but we felt very happy. What a nice Tree Planting Day!
Do you like doing housework?
I’m sure that I like doing housework .I often do some housework that I can do like sweeping floor, doing the dishes, washing clothes and so on. Last year, I cooked soup for my mother on her birthday. I cut beef, onion, carrots and potatoes into small pieces first. Then I put beef pieces into water and boiled them with salt, pupper, Chinese prickly ash and ginger for three hours. Next I added vegetable pieces into soup. But I forgot that I had had already added salt, I added salt again. Finally the soup that was a little salty was took a bowl of soup for my mother. She was so surprised and moved. Although it’s a little salty, she still ate it out. I was moved, from that, I prefer to do it can not only train us but also make our parents happy. i also watched tv. there were many sports stars. they were having competition. mother bought skirt, dress, socks, t-shirt and slippers as my birthday gifts. and we drank some orange juice, apple juice and banana juice. i think i had a wonderful may day.

I’m an 18-year old middle school student. I have been busy with my study and seldom helped my parents with the housework. Feeling quite sorry for that, I begin to think about what to do to help.
Last Sunday, when my parents went out shopping, I suddenly got an idea: why not give the rooms a thorough cleaning? Firstly I collected all the books, newspapers and other things scattered in the rooms and put them in place. Then I wiped the dust off all the furniture. After that, I swept and mopped the floors.
