Spring festival is on the first day of the first lunar month. Chinese people most like the Spring Festival. During Spring Festival, Chinese people like having meals with their families, playing fireworks in the open air. My sisters and I played fireworks on that day. We had many fireworks. They were very beautiful. They were running into the sky and breaking into pieces. They looked like flowers in the sky.
We were very happy and excited. After that, I made a wish. I hope that, we can have a happy and healthy life next year and everyone in my family can be happy. I enjoy the festival very happy.
The Duanwu Festival, which is also called the Dragon Boat Festival, is an ancient Chinese traditional festival, celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month. For thousands of years, various celebrating activities are held all around the country. Eating zongzi and racing dragon boats are the most pertinent ones, which are said to be in memory of Qu Yuan, a great poet. In some places, people spread realgar wine on the children in the hope of protecting them from the evil spirits. Many people consider May as an especially dangerous time for diseases in a year, and therefore they hang moxa and calamus and things like that around the doors to ward off evil and diseases and pray for good luck.
October 1st is the national day of our country. This year, we have a golden week holiday for eight days. Besides, according to the new rules, all highways of our country are free of charge during the eight-day holiday. Therefore, many people choose self-driving tour, which expects to save much money. However, during these days we can see that the situation is not as good as expected.
Because of the huge traffic flow, tens of thousands of people catch traffic jam in highways, which rarely happened in the past. Besides, when they get to the destination, they find that they are crowed with people, which makes their trip worse. From TV or Internet, we can see that visitors of most famous scenic spots are far more than the maximum capacity.
Some people even fight with others. In addition, from this holiday, we can see many issues existing in the management of scenic spot. The managers do not do good preparation of this holiday, and their attitude towards visitors should be changed, especially those famous tourist attraction.

Spring Festival Gift
My happy Spring Festival After the New Year’s Eve dinner with my family, we began to sit down in front of the TV, and enjoyed 20_ CCTV Spring Festival gala. At about ten o’clock, the black sky was lightened by lots of fireworks with colorful light and happy sound. We stop watching the CCTV 20_ CCTV Spring Festival gala, and began to climb up the balcony to see the beautiful fireworks view, and my father took some fireworks up, and we also began to play fireworks. What a beautiful night. Later, my cell phone was ringing all the time. I received lots of short messages from my friends and classmates. They all blessed me happy New Year. I gave same bless to them by sending back the happy words. At almost 12 pm, I made a wish in New Year, and began to sleep. When I woke up in the first day of New Year, my father and mother gave two red packets to me, and blessed me that everything will go well on me. I thanked them, and accepted the red packets happily. I have been waiting for the day that I can get lots of red
packets. This is my happiest time of the year. After lunch, both my family went to the park, the streets, and the shops or supermarkets. We took many photos in the park, and bought many things in the shops or supermarket. I met my uncles and aunts, they all blessed us happy New Year and gave me red packets. I was too happy to count how many red packets I got. The following days, we visited my grandparents and some of relatives. We happily talk with them, and brought some presents to them, and also received some New Year presents. This was how did I spend my Spring Festival; I really enjoyed myself in Spring Festival.
After the Spring Festival, children's faces show the unique happiness of the Spring Festival. Adults are relieved of their tiredness in one year. What an important festival the Spring Festival is!
Walking on the street with a strong atmosphere of Spring Festival, there are lots of lights everywhere. Every tree is covered with big red lanterns. The bustling people in the market are wearing thick cotton padded jackets, and a trace of white air rises slowly in front of their mouths and noses. People in the market are carrying new year's goods, flowers, orange trees and dolls. The scene is very lively, and the happy news of Spring Festival is on their faces.
When I got home, my neighbor's family of three were doing sanitation. My mother was busy saying to me, xxxif you are free now, let's start cleaning the inner room.xxx I nodded my head knowingly, and my mother gave me a pair of latex gloves and towels, and then we both went to work. Wipe the door first, then the window, and soon my mother and I will clean the whole house clean, so that we can show the new year's customs.
On the morning of the thirtieth of the lunar new year, we will tear off all the Spring Festival couplets and blessing characters of last year and paste them with the new ones. This is called removing the old and welcoming the new. In the evening, the whole family will eat the reunion dinner together. People who work outside will also come home. There will be a lot of dishes in the reunion dinner. They also need to cook more food and leave a piece of leftovers for the new year. This means that there are more than one year and there are endless meals every year.
New year's Eve is the last night of the old year. Everyone should keep the age, and can't sleep except for children and old people until the new year comes. In the morning, our family will go to relatives' houses to pay a new year's visit. Of course, relatives will come to my house, so we will arrange to go to relatives' houses for a few days and stay at home to entertain relatives and friends. After the Spring Festival, there is the Lantern Festival. The main role of the Lantern Festival is Tangyuan, which means reunion.
Spring festival represents China's long history, culture and rich folk customs. It plays an indispensable role in the hearts of Chinese people.
Double Ninth Festival
The 9th day of the 9th lunar month is the traditional Chongyang Festival, or Double Ninth Festival. It usually falls in October in the Gregorian calendar. In an ancient and mysterious book Yi Jing, or The Book of Changes, number 6 was thought to be of Yin character, meaning feminine or negative, while number 9 was thought to be Yang, meaning masculine or positive. So the number nine in both month and day create the Double Ninth Festival, or Chongyang Festival. Chong in Chinese means double. Also, as double ninth was pronounced the same as the word to signify forever, both are Jiu Jiu, the Chinese ancestors considered it an auspicious day worth celebration. That‘s why ancient Chinese began to celebrate this festival long time ago.
The custom of ascending a height to avoid epidemics was passed down from long time ago. Therefore, the Double Ninth Festival is also called Height Ascending Festival. The height people will reach is usually a mountain or a tower. Ancient literary figures have left many poems depicting the activity. Even today, people still swarm to famous or little known mountains on this day.
On this day, people will eat Double Ninth Gao (or Cake). In Chinese, gao (cake) has the same pronunciation with gao (height). People do so just to hope progress in everything they are engaged in. There is no fixed ways for the Double Ninth Cake, but super cakes will have as many as nine layers, looking like a tower.
The Double Ninth Festival is also a time when chrysanthemum blooms. China boasts diversified species of chrysanthemum and people have loved them since ancient times. So enjoying the flourishing chrysanthemum also becomes a key activity on this festival. Also, people will drink chrysanthemum wine. Women used to stick such a flower into their hair or hang its branches on windows or doors to avoid evilness.
In xxx, the Chinese government decided the Double Ninth Festival as Seniors‘ Day. Since then, all government units, organizations and streets communities will organize an autumn trip each year for those who have retired from their posts. At the waterside or on the mountains, the seniors will find themselves merged into nature. Younger generations will bring elder ones to suburban areas or send gifts to them on this day.
The Mid-Autumn is a very important Chinese festival. It falls on the 15th day of August. A few days before the festival, everyone in the family will help to make the house clean and beautiful. Lanterns will be hung in front of the house. On the
evening there will be a big family dinner. People who work far awayfromtheir homes will try to come back for the union. After dinner, people will light the lanterns which are usually red and round. Children will play with their own toy lanterns happily. At night the moon is usually round and bright. People can enjoy the moon while eating moon-cakes which are the special food for this festival. They can look back on the past and look forward to the future together. It is said that there was a dragon in the sky. The dragon wanted to swallow up the moon. To protect the frighten the dragon away.
What a great festival!

All people living away from home go back, becoming the busiest time for transportation systems of about half a month from the Spring Festival. Airports, railway stations and long-distance bus stations are crowded with home returnees.

Last Qingming Festival,I return home to worship my
Festival is a folk the past,In the past, the Qingming Festival was called xxxArbor Dayxxx. But Today, Chinese visit their family graves to tend to any underbrush that has grown. Weeds are pulled, and dirt swept away, and the family will set out offerings of food and spirit money. Unlike the sacrifices at a family's home altar, the offerings at the tomb usually consist of dry, bland food. One theory is that since any number of ghosts rome around a grave area, the less appealing food will be consumed by the ancestors, and not be plundered by strangers.
With the passing of time, this celebration of life became a day to the honor past ancestors. Following folk religion, the Chinese believed that the spirits of deceased ancestors looked after the family. Sacrifices of food and spirit money could keep them happy, and the family would prosper through good harvests and more children.
We take a holiday of 7 days because of the National we all know,October 1 is the National Day of China in Gregorian calendar.
In the holiday I went to visit the Yellow River Forest Park togeter with three of my was very boring when staying in the bus for a long time, which made me doze off all the time, and at some time,I nearly struck my head on the chair in the front of two hours' journery by bus,we finally got to the to my disappoint, there was nothing intresting here, which were quiet normal with the my school I stayed in,here was very noisy and messy.
Though the park is beside the Yellow River, the air is still a little smelly because there are a lot of animals such as horses, cocks and so on here, which make lots of wastes every day while few people clean a word, the park is not so good as I had expected, and I felt unsatisfied about it.

How time flies! Four moths have passed since we saw each other last time. I cannot help but miss you. You asked me about Chinese Spring Festival. Now I would like to tell you something about it。
The Spring Festival is a Chinese traditional festival. It is the most important and enjoyable one. A few days before the festival, houses are cleaned and red couplets are put up on the doors of every household. They are said to frighten away the ghosts. On that day, people are dressed up. Firecrackers ring out in the air, which adds to the atmosphere of the festival. People after a year’s hard work begin to relax and visit one another. Presents and dinners are given to celebrate the happy reunionof friends and relatives. Families get together. They have jiaozi and enjoy the New Year TV show. Customs may vary from place to place, but the same happy atmosphere is to be found everywhere in the country。
Now, I hope you have some idea of Chinese Spring Festival.
Mid-autumn day is a special festival in China, which is one of the traditional Chinese festivals. Itfalls on the 15th day of august lunar month every year. Our Chinese will celebrate it on that day. I think there are not too many people can reject he temptation of it. I like this festival very much. I have two reasons.
First of all, mid-autumn has the deep meaning of reunite. In china, people regard mid-autumn day as very important, so no matter where they are, they will come back to their family if there is a chance. They don’t like celebrate this festival outside, which will make them feel lonely. Thus, they will go home by all means. Luckily, the government also pays great attention to this traditional festival. There are laws to make sure people have holidays in that special day. In the other word, mid-autumn festival gives a chance for family get together.
Secondly, every family will prepare a big meal in that day. All the food is delicious. It is good to have a big meal. I think nobody will not interest in delicious food. The mooncake is a necessary decoration for mid-autumn day. It tastes good, too. It is the traditional for a long time. How pleased to enjoy the glorious full moon with mooncake!
This is why I love mid-autumn festival so much. It is funny and happy time.
China has many traditional festivals among the year. But I like Mid-Autumn Festival the most. It means harvest, because it is celebrated in the harvest season. And it is the time for famers to express their thanks for harvest. In addtion, it’s the day for reunion. Some people call it Tuanyuanjie. The people work or study far away from home will come back to get-together with their families. They will eat a big meal and mooncake at that time. I hate parting but love reunion. So Mid-Autumn Day is my favorite festival.
The Mid-Autumn Festival is a very important Chinese festival. It’s on the fifth of August. We can hang lanterns in the house. In the evening, we have a big dinner. Look, there is lots of food on the table. They are chicken, fish, crabs and so on. They’re very delicious. We can drink a glass of juice.
